No disrespect, but if BD were that important to you, you'd have been doing the bounties every week that let you earn it.
The point of EV is to make Bungie money to cover the cost of the content that they GIVE away at no charage. BD is there as a compliment to let you get SOME of what is in EV. That's all.

This is an honest question and in no way am I throwing shade or being disrespectful; how many hate messages and/or t-bags do you get when you play?

Edited by kellygreen45: 8/17/2020 11:17:14 AMAlmost none. And the few that I get are quickly returned. 😏 Evereverse isn’t going away, and it is a vanity store whose purpose is to make up the revenue short-fall created by Bungie giving away content for free, and allowing us to buy seasons a la carte. The system is not designed so that a player can earn enough BD to get everything in the store without spending cash. If you understand why the store is there then you can stop going to war with it and decide if you want to live with it or not. To the OPs credit, he’s since walked his post back.

No. The point of Eververse is simply to make a whole bunch of extra money from overly impulsive customers using predatory, manipulative gambling and fomo tactics. Bungie makes a lot of money from Eververse, yet we still get largely the same "free" events from Destiny 1, with less and less innovation with each iteration, of course. Maybe a "free" mission every other year. 300 million in a year off Eververse sales earns you a "free" mission or 2 over 3 years. 🤦♂️ Bungie only gives things away for free when they are worthless, like year 1, or when they can use the event to promote Eververse further, like solstice of heroes, the dawning, and festival of the cost events. Nice to see you're still deepthroating Bungie at every given opportunity though. You should be on payroll by now.

Edited by kellygreen45: 8/16/2020 1:32:30 AMLet’s love your idea for a minute, and we take away all that EVIL money that’s being made by corporations like Bungie..... 1. It just goes somewhere else in the economy. 2. All the talent, knowledge and energy that goes into making GAMES that you take for granted and feel entitled to...goes with it. 3. So if you wanted a computer game, you or your friends would have to figure out how to make it yourselves. Because that is how capitalism and economies work. And how you get to use ALL those things you either don’t know how to make for yourself, or don’t want to spend your time doing ( which is how you have the TIME AND ENERGY to play the games you feel entitled to and are currently complaining about). Without evil corporations and evil money, we’d all get thrown back to the Middle Ages where we wouldn’t have time to play games because we’d be to busy either growing our own food and making ...by hand...every item we’d need to use. Or practicing for war so you could protect that food from others who would like to beat you over the head and take it from you (because that evil money also pays for a professional army and police force, so you don’t have to do that for yourself either). Oh and forget about electricity and indoor plumbing too. Corporations produce those as well. So even if you knew how to make the games, you’d still need to be able to build a computer and make the electricity to run it....and the monitor to display it on..... Now. How do you like a world without money and corporations?? What to trade the world your currently living in for that one?? Anyone? Money is the price you pay for access to other people’s knowledge, expertise, and the fruits of their labor and creativity.
