Becoming a Reckoner is the highest honor in Gambit, but the way you chose to earn the title was a d i c k move. You don’t deserve the title!

Dude, nobody going into quick play gambit cares about that stuff. If youre serious about actualy playing comp gambit, you go in as a 4 stack. If im in there solo, and i see a guy camping the invade, i leave them to it. And ill also leave them the heavy. Why? Because he has a goal in there and i dont care about winning. If i did i wouldnt solo que.

Don't blame the player for a title that requires you to play in a very specific manner. I'm working on my 1000 invader kills currently, and you can bet that I'm camping at the portal when we are close to having an invade or when the enemy gets their Primeval up. Could I do more to help my team win, sure, but I want to get my Triumph done as quickly as possible.

Then help your teammates and don’t sit around waiting, you’re throwing the match for your own benefit.

If there isn't an invade currently up and won't be up for a bit, I definitely help out, but if it's close, meaning it will be up on the next deposit, I'm on my way over to get the invade.
you’re throwing the match for your own benefit.
I wouldn't say I'm throwing the match, but I'm definitely prioritizing getting my Triumph done for my own benefit. If the only reason I'm playing Gambit is to get the Triumph done, why would I do anything else? How is that any different from the people constantly going for 15 motes to get a bounty done? Or people playing off-meta subclasses for other bounties or Triumphs? By your logic, everyone should be using the most meta weapons and loadouts in order to best help their team at all times. How is that fun? I got a little carried away there. The short summary is that completion of Triumphs sometimes requires playing in non-optimal ways, it is a design flaw within the game.
