Weapons don't really matter with shaders or look imho but an exotic out of any other tier of equipment should be the most customizable tbh.

I leave that to my granddaughters when they play on my profile. However, an old clanmate of mine applies various shaders to easily distinguish one weapon from the other without having to pay much attention (depending on weapons used and sights that may be similar). I found this method applicable and efficient. Just offering an alternate perspective. It does mirror my old use of tape and markings a previous organization used to distinguish caliber differences for both guns and magazines that look almost identical at first glance (e.g. M4/AR chambered 5.56mm vs 300BLK). There are several reasons why we did this, ranging from safety to intended purpose.
