The Trials requirement is so ridiculously out of line with all of the other glow steps.
- I randomly loaded into an 860 Nightmare Hunt at the boss and got that done in literally 3 mins.
- PoH takes 20 mins.
- Master NF isn't even hard if you're (at least close to) 1080. took about 10-15 mins. It's The ONLY other thing out of the 5 that is even close to "endgame" or "challenging."
- Altar is not hard anymore. I don't think it even took 3 to unlock regardless of what it says. Still only 30-45 mins at most.
It obviously isn't about "earning" the glows through "endgame" content. It's just a clumsy, out-of-touch way to "force" people to play an unpopular game mode.

In my opinion they only included trials to jack up the player numbers... it’s been an abysmal failure since it was introduced.

Well of course. It's not like they fooled ANYBODY.
-
After reading some of the fanboy comments.. I think they fooled a few😂😂😂

What does time have to do with it? 10 gambit matches takes longer than anything you listed yet it was prior to masterworking. Definitely not out of touch. 7 wins over 4 weeks is fair and end game pvp exists

A flawless card can take about 45 mins anyway in that case it's easier than 10 gambit matches

Edited by Lull9: 8/14/2020 4:09:42 AMThe 10 Gambit matches is out of line with most of the other requirements too. I was discussing the glow step specifically. People can't make the argument that this is supposed to be a "challenging" event. It was just a strange/bad choice by Bungie to make trials a requirement.

I took it more as a revisit all the new content that came out this year. A bunch of moon stuff and trials are basically it so that’s what we had to do
