You unlock the ornaments in eververse when you finish upgrading the blue set. You don't need to do anything with the majestic set if all you want is the ornaments. The fully upgraded magnificent set has a white glow which I think is exclusive to that set cause the glows on the ornaments are whatever color your subclass is, so if you want the white glow you need to fully upgrade the armor.
