Here's an alternative:
Each sparrow track is roughly the size of a strike. So convert the old tracks into new strikes.
Boom! You just saved so much time on environment design and development.

Edited by Corrick II: 8/13/2020 4:21:32 PMThis just invites the inevitable “these are just strikes turned into tracks, lAzY bUnGiE!” comments. Not to mention most strikes just aren’t built for a sparrow to run through cleanly all the way, much less six of them.

Lol. Part of an SRL track has already been incorporated into a Mercury strike. It's been there since CoO and I've never even seen anyone notice.

Ok. Cool. If you’ll read my very short response thoroughly, I specified “all the way through”. Parts of tracks are all over the place. Some strikes require a sparrow. But you can’t ride them all the way through every strike. But it’s cool. You are technically right, which is all that really matters.

Neither of those are good reasons to not re-use assets in creative and productive ways.

I didn’t say they shouldn’t reuse assets creatively. I just suggested that maybe strikes aren’t the best place to start. Which you specifically recommended.
