Does Arbalest need a nerf?

This is strictly in regards to PvP use. Not too sure how the gun fairs in PvE but I imagine match game and champion mods limit it's use just like the majority of exotics In nightfalls. Not to say it doesn't see play elsewhere but I digress. With a new season creeping its way towards us some of your beloved weapons are being sunset opening a new wasteland to the PvP sandbox. Now how will that play out is anyone's guess, but that's exactly what I'm trying to do here... anticipate. So what's next? What will be meta? I believe Arbalest, in it's current form, is a prime candidate for the role. Look I can't tell you this is 100% certain, but the sandbox for better or worse changes every major expansion. Bungie has already said they are looking to rework snipers as a whole and the absence of Revokers only leaves more power to be desired by players in my opinion. I believe Arbalest can fill that hole to some extent for a portion of the community. It's long range, low charge time, and stickier than a godamn fusion grenade. Lol alright I'm exaggerating but only slightly, and that's my problem with the gun. Ease of use is 11/10. I've rushed guardians like a spider monkey who opened the sixth gate of joy and still been domed at a ten meter distance. I'm not saying it doesn't have counter play. I personally just leave the match but I'm sure there are better techniques out there (jokes people don't take it seriously). So my question is does Arbalest need a Nerf? And a follow up to that is would it bother you seeing that gun reign supreme next season?
