8 Energy Weapons from Pinnacles.
Yep, posted earlier I had 6 ... now I’ve have gotten 8 energy weapons on the same character from pinnacles. This isn’t bad RNG...it’s an atrocity.

I am in the exact same boat. Main reason why I don't bother with pinnacle grinding anymore.

I feel for you.. so many easy simple ways Bungie could fix this. I do not understand why Bungie wants to block progression to the hard cap. if we can gain 1 level for ALL our gear per week it would still take 10 weeks to get it. the season is 12 weeks long. Cmon Bungie , the satisfaction of achieving is why we play AND it is your core business model.

I’m having to rely on season pass armour, blues and 3 powerful umbrals a week to for my warlock level. It’s my tertiary character so he’s my lowest. Haven’t had a [i]single[/i] powerful or pinnacle armour drop from him for 3 weeks now. All weapons which obviously drop lower than the weapons I have due to him being my lowest character.

It's hard to tell precisely. With true RNG, 2-in-a-row is fairly common. 3-in-a-row could happen from time to time. 4+ is happening by intentional or accidental design. You really [i]never [/i]see random numbers on even as small as a 1-5 scale (lower vs upper bound) repeat more than 3 times. -Signed: A software developer w/ lots of experience working with RNG
