CBMM/sunsetting/pinnacles IB/solo play
CBMM - sucks for avg player. You're either getting steamrolled or on a team who steamrolled. Quick and dirty and not fun. Not fun at all.
Sun setting- for me ok for some weapons and not ok for armour. It's such a chore and time comsumer to get any armour master worked only to be able only to use it for a few months.. revisit this bungie.
Pinnacles - IB is populous due to the pinnacles available this season. It certainly isnt fun and if the pinnacles aren't there only top tier players would bother. It was always fun with sbmm except for top tier... that's why there is trials.. my opinion
Solo play - why does every end game activity / triumph/ badge / title with decent armour or weapons have to involve completion of a raid or other multi person activity and yet matchmaking only goes to 2 tiers out of 5 for the ordeal etc. How about some purely solo badges / titles not dependent on any other gamer except yourself.

I'll just chime in to say CBMM has made the pace of quickplay unenjoyable for many players. Steamrolled or steamrolling. Push rush push rush. Every game. I can understand fireteam of trials emblems and scuff players love it. But it's not a casual pvp mode anymore. I'm not saying its competitive either. It isnt. Steamroll games with gaps of 30 to 50 arr not competitive. Also it's not conducive to getting better. Getting rushed by trials emblems every match or fireteam steamrolled does not make the any one a better player. Any way a quicky 2 cents. I'm still playing pvp and squeaking out some fun Good luck guardians

I know exactly why you guys hate it, you guys cant run around with shotguns 24/7 and hate the fact a person with common sense knows how to bait you around corners, knows how to use their primary and knows where you may or may not spawn to get that easy kill. I noticed the ones complaining also use really terrible weapons, you have no right to complain about having bad games when you choose to use bad weapons. This game is all about grinding for god rolls and getting strong weapons, you choosing to use garbage rolled weapons is your own fault. I noticed the ones hating iron banner are the same idiots that run past the flags and constantly tries to 1v2-6 the enemy team. In my perspective, I spend more time competing against my team to get kills before my team feeds super charge to the team. Its not the average player that hates cbmm, its the very bottom tier of players that hate it. Even a casual player can have insanely good games so its really all you for refusing to adapt and improve yourself. This is a multiplayer game, if you want to have easy mode then go play a single player game where you can adjust the difficulty and don’t have to use your brain.

But they need the streamers to go on killing sprees to promote their weapons - so they need blueberries for that - Bungie knows they sen us to a slauterhouse That is not fun, and yes because of pinnacles played but not fun Not everyone is Michael Jordan, so what, people still enjoy playing some hoops

Totally agree with you on all points. You had better duck and run for cover though, how dare you criticise cbmm and the crucible being no fun. Expect Red hot flames incoming with following statements If your k/d is less than 1 then you want protecting, If you don’t live in the crucible then your opinion is invalid. You want protecting from the good players - which ironically is why most of them wanted sbmm to go as they had to face off against similar skilled opponents. Connection, meta, blah blah.

Regarding your statement about CBMM, you are so correct. There seem to be these talking points that are echoing around YouTube, twitter, and even in this forum about how statistically, blah blah, how bad it was for the top tier guys ( casuals need to be more understanding of our needs) blah blah and it goes on and on. I have had 10 windows open of YouTube videos of these guys side by side and they are saying the same thing. If you read the comments on those videos though, casuals are not having fun, and casuals are the bigger part of the market for sales. When Bungie says, the "community spoke" do they really mean anyone other than the upper tier of players? IB is popular right now, because of pinnacles, not because the average player is having such a great time. When you 4 people on each team with like 6 kills and then 2 on each team with 50 or 40, how is that fun?

16 Repliesyou have a .87 lifetime KD, you are going to get your ass handed to you regardless of any complaint you can come up with. SBMM or CBMM, the only difference is with CBMM you wont teleport or skip. But guess what, The same good player(s) is still going to steamroll you.

This, this post is what Bungie needs to see, I understand that the bigger people said something so they felt they needed to act on it but I don't consider myself a casual destiny player, and this matchmaking system makes me mad. For someone who denied going into pvp in any game until February this year. It would be nice to have crucible being enjoying again. I'd rather be memed on by sweats and know that I'm just that skilled, instead of just having RNG every match. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk

SBMM was way more fun. With SBMM, players could actually get better. With whatever you call this trash([i]because it is NOT CBMM[/i]), like one or two guys out of 12 are having fun. Fail Bungle

CBMM or SBMM doesn’t matter when it comes to good or bad players. I hate that argument. There’s good and bad. Been that way forever. I agree with the rest though. I’m getting tired of people popping on VPNs and lagging all over the place. Played many people that would not be matched to me according to CBMM. Also get tired of playing the same teams over and over. Have to keep dipping out of the queue and wait a few before going back in. CBMM sucks. Period.
