Never pre-order. The thing Bungie is best at is pre-release hype.

I would much rather they put out a Destiny 3, than do what they are doing. People are still playing Destiny 1 for a reason... That reason is the game still has content to play. Destiny 2 will be losing 82% of its content in order to replace it with 42%. That's pretty sad. That tells me, that it's time for a new game... It's like building a Bologna sandwich, which at first is just bread and 2 slices of Bologna... which then became 3 slices. After you took 4 bites... you took the top bread off, and replaced the bologna. So there was bread missing 4 bites, and new bologna hanging out. At the end of year 2, the game finally made sense. And then you introduced expiring content. Every month, you added a new condiment, while threatening to throw away the bologna again. Toasted the bread which had not been eaten since the first year. Now you are threatening to throw away the toasted bread altogether. Mustard remnants, Ketchup remnants, Relish remnants, Season 2 Chocolate Syrup remnants... all be gone. So now, It's going to be 2 BRAND NEW slices of Bologna, with the bite marks pre-removed, and using the Cheese from the Destiny 1 Ham and Cheese sandwich, that has different bite marks in it, and selling it to us again, for a premium price. Well... I personally think we deserve a Turkey Sandwich, on toasted PUMPERNICKEL RYE, with Bacon, Light oil, and Pepper and Oregano. I know we deserve Pizza, but We know you cannot deliver that. I'll gladly put down the Bologna disaster... for something that looks, smells and tastes better. If you decide to make it, that's your decision. If you want to have jobs this time next year... it's probably a good business decision, to just go ahead and leave Destiny 2 alone, and work on Destiny 3.

This will be my first time not ordering, day one player. Reasons 1. sunsetting, enough said... 2. lack of creativity. Recycled gear, weapons. Armor and weapons from vanilla destiny was on point. Ornaments for armor and gear made you stand out, were obtained by competing difficult tasks in game. Not buying them! You knew if someone was good just by looking at them. 3. Bungie's direction with them game. For some reason Bungie always tries to improve the game for something we didn't ask for. Banners is an example. 4. Power leveling is a joke. Its just a way to gate you from playing harder content. The grind in destiny has changed to a grind bounty fest. 5. Become legend. I don't fell like a legend anymore. All weapons/gear/items feel washed. Mostly due to sunsetting. With all of the past nerfs I don't fell powerful any more. And lastly nothing is special about the pre-order. I don't know what I'm getting with Bungie always keeping things in the dark.

Preordering is what's killed the gaming industry. Bugs were NEVER a thing when I was growing up. Now they're expected, which is absolutely disgusting

Same I will not preorder I havent since Taken King I've learned my lesson and that's when they use to have the 2 best studios working for them under Activison!

I describe myself as an Invisible Grinder. Invisible because I rarely have opinions of things. Grinder well because Bungie. You mentioned Solstice Armor and boy oh boy are you right about that. They aren't even a cosmetic skin selection. That was some serious grinding. I watched every James Bond movie in chronological order twice (even the Pierce Brosnan ones) to grind that get those holo flairs and it was all like you said for nothing. ----} goes back to invisibility

We know that there will be TWABs before Fall expansion. It's stupid to preorder without knowing if they will or will not back out from sunsetting. I'm waiting for their decision to either kill or keep the game.

I brought all the game so far. Expansions and seasons when Shadowkeep launched and the grind has become boring and tiresome and then they say they will be taking out the content that i have already bought and have not completed them at all. I just do not know anymore and the quests i have not completed as they have slowed down or completely stopped when i hit the PVP section (of which i am absolutely crap), they will be going away so i am at a double loss now aswell. I just dont know anymore but one thing i do know i wont be pre ordering the DLC this time. Learnt that lesson now.

I also cancelled within the first week. Kept my emote 😂

Bold of you to preorder anything nowadays The triple A industry mainly consists of lies and "suprise mechanics" Never preorder anything. That is on you
