1. The use of the term ‘scream’ kind of identifies a potential reason why you perceive that Bungie doesn’t listen. 2. I can’t believe that people feel like they should make the choices that affect the game and in turn hundreds of jobs. We are more than welcome to give feedback, convey disappointment (or satisfaction) and generally throw our opinions out there. However, in no way does that mean we are entitled to get what we want, it is Bungie’s game and we can choose to play it or not. You pay to go and see a movie but that doesn’t mean you get to choose the actors, story and script.

maybe stop screaming and form constructive, thought out posts.

Edited by Exo-777-: 7/6/2020 8:48:05 PMIts so funny that a good 80% of people on thus forum barely even play the game That makes me laugh and laugh and laugh They moan and moan and moan then you look at their stats and its pretty much always the same They don't play anyway or barely But hey at least you have a nice safe space to yell all your entitled tears of salt 🙂🙂🙂
-
That is likely because Bungie looks at player engagement statistics to make decisions versus what people are yelling about on the forums. If you look at player stats, Bungie saw huge player totals at the launch of Shadowkeep and then numbers slowly dwindled. Each new seasons denotes a slight uptick, but then the numbers continue to fall. They will likely be watching Season of the Arrivals to see if limited content (soon to be vaulted) causes a rise in player numbers. Beyond Light will likely see a big increase in players, and I'm sure Bungie is hoping that it will be higher than Shadowkeep. Bungie then hopes that sunsetting and a rotating pool of weapons keeps the numbers from falling as far as they did this year over the course of next year. If those two things don't happen, ie Beyond Light brings in less players than Shadowkeep, and the player exodus over the course of the seasons is even more rapid than this year, then Bungie will look for feedback to improve Witch Queen. They are going to gather that data though. It doesn't matter how often people say they hate sunsetting, until the numbers show there is a problem, nothing will change.

Yep! A hundred percent. This will happen. It's happening now. They will not change. It's a business. They all have to eat. Them first, us last. That's what it's all about folks! They are only offering 2 things. The Red pill, or the Blue pill. If you take the Blue pill, you stay in Neverland, and live in the rabbit hole of lies. Endless hamster wheel grind in perpetuity. I took the Red pill. Woke up and realised what this sunsetting bullsh*t is all about. Then I quit. Yep. Quit 2 weeks ago. Never looked back. Now I can jack in with freedom. Lol. Goodbye Digital Slavery!

They are listening the problem is a jackass named Puke Smith and his overinflated ego
-
Do you expect Bungie to bend to every cry the community makes?
-
Be heard
-
Because players don’t know how game design works Why should they listen to them?
-
"We're listening" should be translated as 'We hear you but we're not listening'.
-
Players don't know how to develop games. They can give feedback, but when it hasn't even happened yet it makes almost no sense for them to listen to player feedback.
-
Edited by WormChi: 7/6/2020 3:40:08 PMOnce the numbers drop a month after Beyond Light they will reverse course and reissue etheric light just like in D1. This time the caveat will be you can only use it on reissued gear - though by December half of the gear will be reissued. Ooh - and you can earn Etheric Light in game or pay silver for it. Don’t delete your vaults people you’ll come to regret it.
-
We're listening doesn't mean "tell us what we should with out lives to make yours better" Asshats.
-
Yep, and to have a community manager, they literally never communicate with their community.
-
"...oldy but a goody."
-
Unfortunately, that’s literally all they do. “We’re listening” is their tagline, but sticking their fingers in their ears shouting “La,La,La” at the top of their lungs seems to be their specialty. It’s sad that this franchise unfortunately will not live up to the potential so many of us hoped it would. All because the devs just don’t want to listen or learn from their mistakes.
-
I like to think they are laughing their heads off at the entitled whiners. Cry baby: Bungie, you're taking away our gear Luke Smith: lmao Cry baby 2 : Bungie I'm leaving I hate you Other Bungie staff: looool hehehe see you in September Cry baby 3: waaaaaaaah Whole Bungie team: ROFL
-
Who exactly are they supposed to listen to? "-blam!-ing remove Crucible, it's garbage" "PvE is boring and repetitive, put more effort into Crucible" "Don't sunset pinnacles" "Pinnacles are the only reason for Sunsetting" "Literally never nerf, we're supposed to be powerful" "This game is piss-baby easy, design some challenge" "Zero Hour and Anomaly Collapse suck, the timer is too stressful and lazy" "ZH and AC are some of the best missions in the game, more please" Even something like Jotünn, part of the community despises it, another part considers it a joke. Bungie is standing in the center of the isle, and getting screamed at by both sides.
-
What never gets old is people putting a book in the title of the post... Jesus Christ almighty.....
-
Imagine that, Bungie dying on stupid hills
-
Bungie winning community support award we all know that was rigged
-
This is because, on most issues, bungie is correct in not listening to the vocal minority of morons that live on this board without playing the game.
-
There is a difference in "We're listening," and "We're acting." They can say they're listening to the feedback. Does not mean they're acting on it.
-
Its so funny when the player base can see bungie making a mistake & scream at the top of their lungs for it not to happen but they do it anyway. "We're listening"
Yeah, it comes in the form of political bias without listening why their involvement as a company should be excluded from said political narrative. Individually yes, but not as a company dipping into politics. Bungie and their minion forum police are too ignorant and biased to even hear out any other side but their own while shutting down conversation that they themselves started. Those are all the ear marks of a totalitarian. And Leftists (aka bigots) are masters at it.
-
Its because you continue to keep playing and Bungie is counting on it. Why would they stop? You'll still be around, regardless. Quit. Its the only way they'll take it serious.
-
*sips coffee* In the end they'll do whatever they want and only rarely will they hear our cries. So many players ranting I bet it gets hard to sort it all out.
