Someone got charged $400.00 for a normal whisper, So..

I don't wish to shame anyone, rather I personally feel that with all things there should be an avenue of help for those who cannot afford as much. AND I feel that there should be help. Period.
I don't agree with insulting players for being 'bad'. Let me tell you why: A 57 year old gentlemen stepped into my stream and said: "I spent 6 hours doing puzzles, and when we got to the boss, I was kicked after 2 tries and lost everything." That guy got his divinity the same day with me. I hated what happened to him and made it a goal to make up what someone else did to him. He now is one of the best floor builders and high dps players i know, he also acquired his 1k and anarchy over on our stream, it was an awesome moment! Determination to be a better player is all that matters (usually). Those ending cheers after we've all finished a raid as a team, those things are part of what make gaming so great to me. I miss the gaming community being about those kind of moments.
I was helped for my first GoS clear by a stacked group who so kindly took me in and taught me the extras i didnt know about, the things that make it 10x easier. They didn't place me in the middle and say 'kill ads'; they gave me positions, detailed information on certain mechanics, and explained. Now i do the same, with over 120 clears and 90 sherpas in garden. They helped me advance when I was 6 months late to the game.
If any of you are struggling, and need a community, as well as a helping hand, we're here for you, and that's a promise. Come by the stream and say hello! I'm looking to find players who are down in spirits. Let's get you raiding!

If a raid team of elite raiders are working on building thier clears for raid report rankings because its fun for them they are under no obligation to help anyone. If they choose to do hard carries and give someone a clear that is thier choice. After all they are posting teaching runs. Its funny you'd talk crap like this seeing how it was an elite raid team who let you join when you didn't meet requirements. Then let you join thier clan . Then introduced you to other top raiders. Without whom you would have your fastest clears and your 3 man since they carried you. Also funny how you act high and mighty yet you used an exploit (titan god mode) to cheese you solo flawless Dungeons and then act as if they are legit. Then you levae the clan that helped build you without even a word to make your own with requirements you barely fit. And even if the 75 plus clears requirement is to get good players to help you do carries why do they have to be a twitch follower? Yeah its cool you "help" people get things but how many would you have done without a stream lol. If you were truly so helpful you'd do them off stream with no obligations. Everybody plays this game for thier own proposes and no one should dictate or criticize them for it. If a person doesn't have or doesn't want to play with others they should be able to choose to hire a service. If a person doesn't know how to approach getting into a team they should be able to go to a stream. If a person wants to be in a teaching raid they should look for one. If an elite team wants to farm clears then they should. Who are you to judge? Stay humble, and remember who helped you get good.

When we old timers did it we don’t post twitch links or ask to join a stream and put out our D2 resumes. We just post Sherpa sessions on LFG and help people there or look for players asking for Sherpas and help them out. You are what is wrong with this system. If you truly want to help take off the twitch link and the hyped up marketing tactics and just reach out to peeps and say you and your team are available for any help. Just message if you need it.

2 RepliesI know this post is getting a little dated but I see a lot of toxic people down below accusing you of things you never said. As a multi-business owner you get used to this type of hate. A lot of people out there don’t understand. All humans have eyes yet some people read things differently. Some call your twitch link an ad, I call it an easy way for people to connect to you. I’ve made a post during last years summer event on how to complete armor objectives the most optimal way and had others chime in on different strategies. It got 1 on trending but people in the comments would say things like “you are what’s wrong with the game” or “this is why we have a content drought” My little tangent is meant to encourage you to not even respond to these haters cause you only fuel their flames. There is no need to defend yourself when you are helping the community. Stick to being a helpful guardian. That’s all Good day to you

And I’m sorry to say that I’ve never had a positive experience when using LFG, so I avoid it like the plague. The community needs many more people like you.

Next thing you know he's like "I'm getting off for the night. See y'all tomorrow". Aaaaalll the while getting donations from your dumbass and other for "helping". Knowing damn well you're tipping to be seen so that that asshole can help you sooner, thus....possible paid carry that might not happen. streamers are the same if not worse than paid carries. 2 RepliesThis was never a problem in D1 until trials was introduced. Some streamers openly DDoS on their streams and yet they are still on the game because it's a big business and big names are involved in it. Bungie will never do anything about it because it serves no positive purpose to them. Ruining streamers however is not good for their game so yeah I seriously doubt they will do anything about it.

Why is this a shock? Literally every game does this. You can buy anything for world of warcraft, destiny, the division, and other games. Just Google that game name plus boost. These sites sell it all. Its creepy. And it's not cheap. 400$ for a weapon isn't out of the ordinary. Some of the WoW stuff goes for well over 1000$ USD

I won’t condone money as an incentive to get gear. There are clear rules against this on console platforms and Bungie rules. Good or bad skill aside. It’s exactly what ruined trials of Osirus with cheaters.

Don’t know if he saw it or was aware but I was just amused when I saw it. I wouldn’t pay and trust me when I say that I need help just getting from planet to planet!
