Way back before Destiny 2 went free to play, I picked up the Black Armory Badge from Spider on my titan, but never went to the tower to start the quest (I decided to focus on my other two characters and never decided to start it again). Fast forward to a while ago and Destiny becomes free to play, but in the process, the wall that the Black Armory Badge from Spider would open up to let you into the Armory and speak to Ada-1 was removed from the game. Because of this, the badge is still in my inventory, but I am unable to start the quest to get the Hammerhead LMG from Ada, and I cannot delete the badge from my inventory. Since I cannot start the quest, I can't access any forge content with my Titan, and I really want to complete the armor set before Black Armory goes away come the next big update. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to delete my titan since it would be a bigger waste to lose years of progress for just one armor set.
