I was looking for a proper "contact us" link instead of a forum that nobody at bungie will ever look at, but I just wanted to put this out there. The fact that all characters and gear are auto-leveled to 750 killed the game for me. I just today saw a (slightly dated) video about destiny 2 and decided I'd pick up wherever I left off-a couple expansions ago, I think. And then the game starts and all my characters, even the ones I hadn't touched in destiny 2 yet (I hadn't played two of my destiny 1 characters ported over yet) were at 750, and when I started with my main to see if it was a bug, it played a cutscene for an expansion I never even bought. I know all kinds of people want to start with the new content right away, but I'd have liked the option to opt out. I prefer to start from the beginning. There was an opt-in-or-out option in destiny 1, so don't try to say it wasn't possible. Now I have no interest in continuing with a game that makes progress pointless. I don't expect anyone to read this or care, but I felt strongly enough I logged onto destiny forums for the first time ever to say it. I knew getting destiny 2 was going to be a mistake, but here I am with my clown shoes, I guess.
