You will kill those activities because you will eliminate the point of doing them.

Or they should change the loot pools of these activities. I get sunsetting the pinnacles. They are the main problem I think. Wouldn't it be cool to not feel like you need mountaintop, recluse, exotic heavy in just about everything?
-
Well..... I guess that's one way to solve the " No room in my Vault" problem, why keep anything if you can never raise it to current light levels.
-
But, the point is to shake the meta... ... so why get rid of the bad stuff and keep the meta... ... Just no sunsetting at all if so...
-
I think the pinnacle weapons should be turned into exotics via a quest of some kind. I’ve been thinking about armor sunsetting and it may be the only way they can universally come up with to make raid armor matter... idk. As it stands now you can get pinnacle armor from several sources and that grossly under values raid content. That’s the exact opposite of how it should be. Raid armor should be sought after. Transmog gives you the ability to make your armors look like whatever piece you want but if they didn’t sunset armor would anyone realistically raid? Most people I know now beat a raid once and see no value in doing it again, but back in D1 raids were part of the weekly routine. Maybe they are just trying to recapture some of that? Biggest thing is we don’t really know what this will look like because it’s not here yet. Good thing is, season pass holder already bought it and can get a first hand look to decide if they want to buy in for September. If you haven’t bought the season it’s only $10 to form an informed opinion as to whether you’ll like it or not.
-
I hate to break this to you but SunSetting is low key targeting pinnacle weapons. They want weapons like Revoker, MT/ Recluse out of End game activities. Wether it’s PvP or PvE.
-
Just dont want raid gear to sunset. I'm mean I'm usually a solo player so when I do a raid, it's very rare and i view my raid gear as trophies. In D1 I was always sad when a new dlc came out and I couldnt use my raid loot any more.
-
I think sunset them but give them new weapons at least to make the activities relevant again. The menagerie is the only thing that has remained relevant until this season when people started farming forges during the GG or even before then for the auto rifle, but that's only due to the meta. Sure the weapons we get in the future will be reskins but if they can at the very least make the activities relevant again, we might have more to do between major expansions when the seasonal content inevitably slows down after week 2. Not to mention this way maybe new light players will have other players who know what they're doing to play with and help them complete these activities, etc. As it is, new light players will eventually get access to these activities but by the time they do, there will be no reason for even these players to try playing anything.
-
They are sun setting them so they can refresh them as seasonal content just wait...
-
All of it. Sunset it all.
-
That, and the fact that we paid money for those activities.
-
I think they should sunset those weapons, and replace them with new weapons. Easy way for Bungie to make content.
-
I say otherwise. Must of those weapons wasn't all that great. Sunset them and add a new loot pool to the activities. How many of those weapons do you actually use?
-
You do know the 76% Actually has very little effect. Even on Reddit poll with 6500 Voted Against another Reddit poll had 8000 For. Seems like the'll do it. These polls are making me laugh.
-
Keep coming back to this. Hasn't Ada-1 been through enough?
-
Those activities will probably be deleted with the begening of the next Destiny's year. Or their weapons will be replace by the same ones, but being seasons 12 weapons, and all non menagerie gun in menagerie (like Dust Rock Blues) would be replace by news DLC guns. But nothing should be sunsetted.
-
Edited by Tactical_Hobbit: 5/29/2020 11:58:07 AMThere are not enough guns in the game to justify a reset. The only heavy legendary weapons coming into endgame in September include 5 arc, 1 void, 2 solar. Absolutely Rad dar dead imo.
-
Either don't sunset them or refresh their loot pool But I doubt they're gonna do that, naturally
-
No one is doing them anyway?
-
And gambit prime shit too.
-
Edited by CorsairBadger: 5/29/2020 1:20:31 PMBlack Armory and Menagerie no. Because they are activities and should be updated to 'Pinnacle' activities to bring them up to the level of Pit Of Heresy. Especially Heroic Menagerie. Pinnacle weapons, yes. Because I'm bored of seeing Recluses and Revokers everywhere. The only issue is, they need to make new weapons to replace them and as we know, 'making content is hard'.
-
I think they should sunset the weapons and armor if they add new sets of weapons and armor.
-
I love my hammerhead and I really don't want to see it fade away into uselessness.
-
Something we all have to understand too, those arent the only weapons Raids/lairs Planetary weapons Escalation weapons (forgot about them till a tower started on mars, made me remember those too) Forge weapons Reckoning Armor/weapons Nightmare armor/weapons and as the seasons go on, if they arent replaced/updated, those activities will simply be impossible to find a fireteam to even play
-
I want to keep my drang sidearm..... And themed guns that took me forever to get the rolls I wanted. They aren't the most powerful guns, but they're what I have become attached to and why I continue to play I want to play with my favorite guns. Period.
-
Sunset the weapons and sunset the content. Out with told and in with the new. Stop pushing for stagnation.
-
If you don't sunset ALL of it, you just recreate the problem. Also all that content will be approaching being two years old come the Fall.
