As the OP of this reddit post explains, it would be such a nice addition to put in an exact copy of our current guardian, with the armor and whatnot that we have equipped so we could test it against all types of possible enemies, that we could earn through PvP related bounties to have a place to test pvp weapons and builds. It's SO agitating to try and figure this stuff out in public matches, and not one of my friends wants to go to private matches just to stand there and be shot when they could be playing, or doing something else entirely, and hell I do not blame them. We're not streamers!
This would probably be pretty easy and it would be nice to, like, update stuff from past seasons like you used to instead of just saying "here, some new shit!" every four months and then never touching it again.

Calus would totally put a hologram of us in the Tribute Hall if he had the chance.
-
Sounds easier than trying to get one of my friends to download the game and let me test weapons on him. Used to do this in Halo all the time but we had split screen and could just use another controller to test weapons.
-
Also as an epic fashion model pls

No bot is ever going to test you like real life opponents. People should just stop worrying about the k/d only they care about, and go test their loadouts in the real world.

AI bots in private matches.

Edited by A Broken Record: 5/28/2020 11:37:18 PMNightHawk377 you make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defences, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

A copy of cayde-6's ghost for sniping practice?
too dark?
Totally agree, we need more bounties.

While tribute hall is dead, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.

Such a good idea! Like how you can spawn heroes in Overwatch practice range. It’d be great to test yourself against different weapons so you know how much damage you can take.
-
I was just thinking about this, sometimes i wanna compare damage values & test different Weapons at range, as well as some other stuff like Resilience & Recovery stats, but we can't do this in the Tribute hall
-
This is actually a great idea. You can measure resilience and recovery, weapon range and consistency. They should also have tributes that pop a super so you can test damage on that
-
I suggested to have 10-11 guardians, one for each level of resilience.
-
Actually pretty great idea.
-
I always thought that this was so easy to implement, just add a door in the hall to a room with say 12 spots where the game can load in say copies of your clan members, or just presets. Easy, hell i say go one step further and make it a shooting range where the "guardians" are in a set pattern of doing something(i.e running, crouching).

Good idea but I think it would also impact the player numbers in playlists. Instead of testing gear in game modes people would be hanging around in tribute hall. So that would cause having less players in playlists.
-
Something that would be also neat to add is if it mirrors your resilience and recovery. That way you can get a more accurate estimate of damage thresh holds that would be a bigger hassle to test on live targets.
-
Question, What was the tribute hall for in general, and for what purpose does it really have. I never understood what it was for, except for a Brightdust spender.

What. A. Good. Idea.

Terrific idea
-
That would be great

Not trying to be mean, but I honestly think this is a stupid idea. Think about it. You’re going to practice killing people with the gun in a setting that you would never normally use it. You aren’t going to go into a PvP match with people standing still. To truly know the power of the gun you need to put it in the setting it’s going to be used in, up against other guns and LIVE players, or In a PvE setting if that’s what you so desire.

This would be great
