We complain about how broken hardlight can be and how toxic and low skill the weapon requires. So you make Xur sell it. You really don’t care about your fan base and it’s quite pathetic. Been playing since the beta of destiny 1 on ps3. And this is how you choose to treat the ones who have stuck by, who traversed the dark to kill Atheon, and to make Crota bow down. Through the era where thorn was the king. Matador 64’s and party crashers everywhere. You still choose to not fix the root of the problem. Abusers. Thank you for 6 years of dedication and grind. To let me down, to let all of us down. Congratulations. This game will die as quickly as it came. And there’s nothing you can do about it now.

Pathetic does come to mind, but not for the same reason.

So you're arguing against Hard Light because now everybody can get it, then accuse Bungie of disrespecting players when those without Hard Light would've felt disrespected anyway? How arrogant and entitled are you to believe that you deserve better treatment over other players, because you "stuck by". How arrogant are you to believe the game will die because some disgruntled privileged fan says they "feel" disrespected, when it's you who failed yourself. Bungie doesn't need you, and you're a fool to think you're worth the effort.

It's only fair, now everyone can have it.

It takes time to change a weapons behaviour, develop new coding, change game physics, test it, tweak it, test it some more. In the meantime, by allowing xur to sell it they reduce the effectiveness of the weapon because everyone has access to it. People can't now complain that they can't compete with hardlight cuz they can just go buy one if they didn't have it unlocked. They did exactly the same with clever dragon in D1. People complained about how OP the perfect balance, counter balance and high cal roll was. So the next time banner rolled round, vendor was selling that roll, or something virtually identical. By giving everyone in the game the same gun, you negate any advantage having it holds. Then it becomes purely on the player themselves if they use it or not. Kick off all you want though, won't make anything happen any quicker.
