Trials is not meant for casual play, it's meant for the more hardcore crowd. Always has been, always will be. If you believe that you are not ready for it, my advice is to stay out of it, practice, and analyze why you are not ready. If you are having trouble finding your fault or don't know what to practice, ask for help. Believe it or not, there are people in this community who will help you with this, just got to know where to look.
Now I could be like everyone else and say get gud or make some snarky remark but I believe that constructive criticism is better.

So you read that whole post and this was your response? OP wasn't talking about trials being to hard he's talking about the mode being unrewarding and structured incorrectly. You need shit for casual ppl to strive for. Getting better at pvp is the goal but there HAS to be a reward structure to keep ppl wanting to push themselves to get better. I'm no sweat but I used to go flawless alot in D1. I cant find a team who even wants to play trials bc theres no incentive for them to grind through the beatings and everyone above me in skill acts like a complete douche. I swear to God your one of those ppl who doesn't listen..your just waiting on your turn to talk.

And because it's for the top players only, everyone else should avoid it, so the sweatlords play vs other sweatlords only. By this they could not farm the playerbase anymore and would actually put some work into it. Leave the trials to 1% playerbase, but don't play cannonfodder, let them play against each other so that every match is sweaty for them. Because that is what they wanted. They don't want to farm noobs, no no, they want the toughest matches they can get and we give it to them by avoiding the trials mode.
-
If they keep resetting at 3 wins for token forms are they really playing trials or just abusing the system?
-
OK maybe what you're saying is "fair." But it will absolutely kill the playlist. And it'll be left with just sweats playing other sweats. That's fine. It's just where this line of thinking leads.
-
Also your whole post was just "get gud" but stretched out lol.

Except the hardcore players need people to stomp in order to enjoy it hence why now they’re getting frustrated at playing the same sweaty teams as the population falls. Your logic is so flawed it’s mind numbingly stupid. As a playlist it NEEDS to be populated with a variety of players otherwise it’s worthless. Whilst there should be hardcore rewards for the hardcore players there needs to be rewards and incentives for everybody else too otherwise it’s dead. It makes me laugh so much when trolls like this actually think that elitist players deserve a playlist all to themselves yet cry like babies when they actually get it because they realise they aren’t as good as they think and can’t stomp consistently. The hardcore player base is not big enough to support this game. These so called “elitist” PvP players have done everything in their power to cry and complain about this game’s PvP and as a result the rest of the game has suffered. If it carries on I’m pretty sure they will be the only players left actually playing the game and we shall see even more salty tears then when they literally have nobody they can beat as they all THINK they are in the top 1% but actually they’re not
Trials is not meant for casual play, it's meant for the more hardcore crowd. Always has been, always will be.
Maybe that's why it keeps dying every time they bring it back; Ever thought about that? ANY playlist need a healthy population. Trials are meant for ANYONE to enjoy. So what if everyone won't go to the Light House, the playlist can still be designed so anyone can have fun playing it.
Now I could be like everyone else and say get gud or make some snarky remark but I believe that constructive criticism is better.
And if you did that I'd just retort with a snarky comment asking you to please keep saying that in 4 weeks when skill-creep has done it's work and you are the one who can't get 3 wins and turn in tokens. I'll truly enjoy reading your whiny posts about how Trials is unfair.

Funny how streamers said the same thing and now are crying that theyre playing the same 10 sweat teams over and over now that most casuals have quit.
-
Some of those streamers are so low IQ, it's unbelievable. First they say "stay away noobs" and then they realise their games getting sweatier and sweatier because playerbase is declining and skillcreep intensifies, then they suddenly cry like babies and say "why is no one playing trials, where are the noobs i used to stomp?"
-
lol I don't even play like that and I go flawless all the time, I know decent players that go flawless as well. Don't give me that crap that its only for hardcore players
-
Even for the hardcore crowd, there is little incentive. Most people like myself do it for fun
-
and what fun isn't incentive enough? Its a game.

It would be nice to have rewards that are worth my time. I could just play QP, Comp, or any rotator instead of trials. I just did a flawless card with some friends and had a good time but it's probably going to be the only card I do this week because the rewards aren't there. If I wanted to play a game purely out of fun, which didn't have items to grind for, I wouldn't play a looter shooter.
