There should be 3 or 4 sets to farm: Vanguard : all open world sets and strike related as ornaments Crucible: all Shaxx, IB and Trials sets as ornaments Endgame: all raid / dungeon sets as ornaments with raid / dungeon mods slots Seasonal: all seasonal armour as ornaments with the seasonal mod slot. This would cut down on sets available to farm whilst opening up more opportunities to create builds for specific activities At the same time I'd also cut back on weapons in the loot pool by reconfiguring those reskinned into ornaments, update all weapons to the current build, have a base model of each that can then be updated with the ornaments of those that are just reskins. You'd instantly remove around ⅓ of weapons from the loot pool whilst freeing up room to create new weapons.

I mean you can still earn them. After unlocking them, they are now universal ornaments. Probably should have specified that. Armor drops are sill and thing, you can just now do things like equip like the Strike armor set on the Gambit set.

I'm fully aware you can still earn them, just put forward how I feel Bungie should have implemented armour 2.0 by reducing the sets available to 4 and have those 4 activity related with all previous armour sets now as ornaments. I mean how many times do we need to dismantle Thorium gauntlets or simulation chest pieces?

Edited by EaglesSquad1: 4/3/2020 5:45:04 PMI would say all the armor we put a grind into like raids, crucible, and other activities just to keep the ornaments at a respective level without over doing it that way there would be some organization in it Edit: but that’s just my opinion

Couldn't agree more.
