Hi people at Bungie,
My clanmate (PSN: Corso-Jr) received a 2-month ban from all matchmade activities last night for "unstable internet connection". History - he received a 2 week ban back in the fall for the same issue; however, this was because he had played the game while he was visiting his parents over the summer and their internet is spotty at best. However, he has not since played there and in the dozens and dozens of hours I have played with him post 2 week ban. His internet connection has been extremely steady and reliable (better than several other clanmates who have never had this issue). He immediately submitted an appeal form, but it states that there is no guarantee it will even gain a response. I am mainly posting here to create another touchpoint for this to be noticed and (hopefully) overturned as it seems to be based on very far gone events (summer 2019). I'm done rambling so this doesn't become a novel. Thanks for reading and I hope that this appeal gets some attention.

Sorry but.. 1. This should be your friend asking not you. 2. Bungie will not discuss restrictions to anyone more do to someone else other than the person action was taken against. 3. To put it bluntly... they were lagging and ruined game after game for others. These players reported your friend and Bungie investigated them. To get a 2 month ban they ignored a stand alone warning and another warning which came with a 2 week restriction. They need to sort out any internet issues and it below recommended internet speeds or having a high signal latency/ping. Next time Bungie has to step in the restriction will be permanent. Also be sure of your terminology... Suspensions... a time out for leaving matches too many times. Last 30min to a hour. Restrictions... Bungie removed the player from pvp for a time (first time 2 weeks, then 2 months then permanent) for ruining pvp matches for others mainly from lag. Ban... full removal from the game issued for cheating.
