A lot of players hacks for themselves. They use a fake account to carry their main or their friends that Will do the same. And even if the paywall isnt THE solution. It will absolutely slow down the amount of hackers. After all when it was on blizzard and you had to pay, there wasnt as much hackers. F2p summoned all the worthless hackers.

Some do. I'd argue the most part though. I think most hackers are folks who just downloaded a free / single purchase kit / looked up a quick guide from google and had the patience to spend a few minutes creating burner accounts. For them it's free and low-effort. Removing the free part would cull a lot of the cheaters out from recurringly acting on it. Of course it's not a perfect cheating remover, but it'll cull it a lot. There'll always be the next free game they can go goof in without additional costs. That is the point, make it cost [i]something.[/i]
