Well, since nothing of this season crap content means anything story wise, I say let the tower burn to the ground. I don't intend to level up a single bunker regardless of having bought the season pass (what moron I was). I 100% refuse to play the mindless bounty farming simulator this game turned into, just to fill up a XP bar to earn irrelevant and completely average stuff.

2 RepliesI'll admit I'm kind of curious to see if Bungie will actually follow through on having the Almighty crash into the City. Though honestly they'll probably just pull a deus ex machina to save the City if we don't reach whatever arbitrary goal that's been set. Personally I stopped caring about upgrading the bunkers when I realized how tedious the grind to do so was going to be. If I make progress I make progress. If I don't? Oh well. I'd rather just focus on leisurely working my way through the season pass rewards, and refining my characters' builds.

I did exactly the same. I've stuck through Destiny since The Taken King, even through CoO and Warmind, and I've never felt less incentive to play.

In the back of my mind, Ove been kinda hoping that maybe Bungo would do a season of the Grifter..where WE are the ones making the choices for ourselves and no longer enslaved to the will of Zavala and Ikora who obviously cant plan their way out of a paper bag.

Right, the almighty, they did mention something about that, didn't they? We'll get right on that after we get done cleaning rasputin's man caves. I mean what the hell, after all the nerfs, and weapons rules like not using 2 exotics at the same time, losing ammo when you switch weapons, grenade cool downs,etc, they just expect us to wave our wee wees at the cabal anyway. Smoke the tower and be done with it. lol

I just want the guns. That’s it. If we have to do a community thing like last season or launch a certain number of satellites then by all means let’s sit back in orbit and watch the fireworks.

Yeah those bunkers aren't worth the hassle, just sit back, let the almighty tumble towards us, when it get's close enough ol' Traveller will just be like "oh for -blam!-s sake!" And yeet the almighty far far away. Personally i'd have extermination squads storming the almighty, wiping out any red legion still on board, then attach engines that can give some deceleration to it by pushing it in the other direction. Once it's at a complete stop well i guess we got our own battlestation we can refit for our own uses.

They could probably just change it so only a handful of Guardians needed to participate to make it happen. No way we'd get 100% of the community to not participate.

4 RepliesWait what? If we dont do bunker and useless towers, almighty hits the tower? I tried once these events and they suck so hard that i just cant. Im just doing other fun stuff, because when i have hour or two to play, i wanna have fun. Oh well if almighty hits the tower, because i didnt want to play anoying, boring tower/arena bunker, so be it. I like farm more anyways....
