Paywall the crucible for the seasonal price tag to curb the amount of cheaters

Locking this as intended disruption is against the Code of Conduct. There are two other threads recently that are feedback in regards to cheating or otherwise. Lets keep the conversation to those threads.

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 4/3/2020 11:41:58 AMHonestly part of me hopes the cheating gets way out of hand, even more than currently is. Like the current free to download aimbot, I hope it skyrockets to millions of downloads. I hope every second person in every playlist will be aimbotting soon. I hope the problem goes so severe that it's a case where bungo would've had to fix it yesterday, or crucible'll be dead in the water tomorrow on PC. Because otherwise we'll be waiting for half-baked solutions for months like usual. And if it does go to that extend and bungo'll still fail to fix it with top priority, then at least I can finally wrap this game as a lost cause of incompetence and move on. #paywall

Problem is they went to PC.. Which allot of us called this when announced. Hackers, cheaters and what not.. They were not prepared once they left Blizzard to do this all alone.

Don’t make excuses so they create even more scams.

Edited by Dante: 4/3/2020 12:46:57 PMthis wont do anything tbh last time i checked paid carry for trials was 20$, hacker will make hes money b4 ban cause bungie is really slow with it to a point where after 2 weeks since reporting hackers im still seeing them ingame

Exactly

I said this at the start that it should be behind the season pass because people can content share if its just behind an expansion like shadowkeep.

This game always had tons of hackers even since day one. The only difference is now the player base is so tiny you run into them a lot more. Putting in a paywall of some kind to make it harder for hackers would not lower their numbers at all. It would only be a tiny minor inconvenience for them. The only thing that would possibly stop hackers would be to switch to dedicated servers because dedicated servers allow for the company using them to have much tighter and stricter control over things.

Most hacker make money from hacking so this dosent effect them.

Honestly you wanna know what I’m salty about? The locking of lore behind going flawless. Unless the lore book becomes available another way, a lot of us aren’t gonna be able to earn that lore.
