Right! Because ddoss was never a problem on console. It got so bad in Destiny 1 that people were actually ddoss others out of Iron Banner..
-
Do you even know of all the whacky shit that happens on PC? Lol At least ddosers are all we have to deal with.

In PvP, yes.. I prefer to play games over 30 fps and not get loading freeze entering another part of a map or even tower. Here's a question for you, was hacking on PC bad before or after Bingie decided to go free-to-play? Was hacking bad when it was on the blizzard engine? If the answer is no, then your statement clearly looks more like console bias.

PvP is the subject the OP was talking about. So why wouldn't we be discussing PvP only? Yes, hacking didn't become bad until the game became free to play. But before then, the PC playerbase was smaller than console. I'd take only occasional network manipulation and 30 fps over every game being a cheat fest with automatic rocket launchers, instant reviving enemies, and hunters running at Mach 30 It's not console bias. It's reality. It's far easier to cheat on PC. Especially when this game can get picked up by anyone with a steam account and an internet connection.

But where will bungies main audience go? I listened to the latest episode of the rageless roundtable and they discussed how alot of PC players are thinking of going onto the next gen consoles because hardware is better and they are less cheaters and the guys say that its concerning. How is it concerning? The game should and was designed to be console exclusive. Destiny 2 should never have been on PC (to preserve the community and hardware aspect of the game) but they wanted the money.
-
There should be a PC version for the increased revenue and playerbase. But the focus and balance should be based around consoles.
-
Lmao imagine a car manufacturer only servicing or issuing warranties for one vehicle and screw the rest
-
Keeping it console exclusive is just easier for Bungie and healthier for the game. Bungie can balance the game much easier without having to worry about whether a gun works differently on pc. And there’ll be less nerfs to guns because all guns will work the same on console, instead of an imbalance with both console and pc. Take the last word for example. It’s used to be much better on pc than console (less recoil when ADSing; much more controllable), until they nerfed it. Funny thing is, last word is arguably better now on console than before.

Edited by crazycazza95: 4/3/2020 3:18:29 PMIts not just that. Tiger engine was designed completely as a console only engine. Porting it over to PC is something that the engine was never designed to do. Thats coming from someone i know who worked on the tiger engine for a couple of years. He compared to giving an elderly driver a mini cooper with a lambo engine
