He slowly walked forward, looking at the fire and listening to the sounds of chaos further in the prison. Then he heard a voice in his helmet. “Ronin, I’m glad you’re here. I know it has been a long time, but I needed all the support I could get.” “I know Petra. I’m sorry for being gone for so long, but who else is here? And where’s Variks?” “So far, it is just me, Cayde-6 and the Guardian,” Petra said. “They are handling some of the prison riots that are happening. I need you to go deeper into the prison and neutralize some of the threats down there. While you do that, if you can, find out how this riot was allowed to happen. I trust you know your way around.” Ronin laughed. “Petra, despite the fact that I’ve been gone a year, I still know this place like the back of my hand. I can do this. I’ll let you know if I find anything.” He grabbed his auto rifle and ran into the prison. He jumped over flames to a control panel next to an elevator that led further down into the prison. He used the special warden code and entered. As he rode down, Lockdown appeared at Ronin’s shoulder. “Ronin, I don’t like this. Stuff like this doesn’t just happen.” “I know Lockdown, that is why I am going to find out what happened here.” The elevator doors opened and Ronin was faced with dozens of Fallen and a few Cabal prisoners. They all looked at him and immediately all the fallen cried out in anger. Out of the jumble of clicks and screeches, Ronin could understand one sentence. “It’s the one! The Arc Assassin!” They forgot their small fight with the cabal prisoners and aimed all their guns at Ronin. He charged them with a speed that has yet to be matched by any guardian and fired his auto rifle into the mob. Ronin expertly dodged shots as he tore through the crowd, pulling out an antique knife and stabbing a few slow fallen. Realizing that shooting the Arc Assassin wasn’t doing any good, they pulled out shock knives, blades and spears to charge him. Seeing this, Ronin generated his arc staff, parrying the blades away from him. He spun his staff around and knocked the rest of the fallen away into arc energy. Then he looked further into the prison and smiled under his helmet. "You know Lockdown? I really did miss this. Now let's end a riot shall we?" Then he ran into the angry mob.
