This is not Destiny anymore!
We started with a pretty hollow game back in 2014, but it got updated over time until we had pretty much the perfect Destiny in the end.
Leveled up vendors and factions to show of dedication towards them or just grinded strikes for god roll weapons, raids for awesome ornament gear, trials for actual (worthwhile) awesome loot and iron banner with changing weapons and awesome gear to earn too.
Everything could be earned!
Yes, they screwed us a couple times too back then, but never on the level we're at right now!
Now we do have a cash grap game that only focuses on MTXs, nothing real to earn in game, except some shaders.
I could list everything that sucks now, compared to D1, but it would take me way too long and you all know most of it already.
The game is a sad copy of a mobile game now, with more loot in a cash shop than the actual game (I dont count all those copy paste legendaries you can earn) has to offer.
Bungo lost the path long ago and sadly, the franchise is doomed already. I gave up, they wont fix it ever again.
Destiny 2 is no longer the Destiny I knew.
Better call it agony 2 by now. Fits the game way better, as our destiny is to do endless bounties day by day.....Agony the game!

Come on this game is perfect. Just throw money at the endgame content called EVERVERSE. I can buy everything to dress up my Barbie avatar. The rest of the game is shitty, gutted hollow shell. D1 wasn’t perfect but it was an escalator on the way up. This game is on its way out. Maybe 1 decent content drop in September but anything else will be surprise

[/quote] Why does everyone think D1 was some flawless masterpiece? Take off the nostalgia goggles and realize D1 was just as flawed as D2. [Edit] Jesus, I'm not trying to defend the shit state the game is in right now, I'm saying D1 was equally as shitty. Did you all magically forget the content drought after TTK? Did you forget how light level on gear pre TTK got capped making it completely useless? The fact that we spent an entire year with only one raid dropping gear that was useable? Face it, D1 up until the very end of its lifespan was complete shit. Even now I go back to D1 and it doesn't feel very different at all. Guns still feel the same and there arent as many abilities as in D2. Hell, movement is worse without ledge grab. I'm not saying D2 is good by any means, but holy hell stop sucking off D1 like it's a masterpiece because it's not.

Can’t say the same![/u][/b] Now if only If I could take the Forsaken campaign/content, inc Shattered Throne (Dungeons are a great addition) OG Gambit (with [b]just[/b] the Prime/Reckoning weapon pool) And the originally speedier UI & attach it to Y3 of D1, then the game would have been in a much better place (over Sept2017-Oct19) Then ShadowKeep could have been the D1Y6 addition 😆👍 All with D1’s much grittier post war feel & it’s original skill tree (slightly added to/upgraded/changed)

1 ReplyBungies biggest mistake was developing a second game instead of going all in on Destiny. The game needs more people working on it Proof? The amount of bugs, the weak anti cheat, and the lack of constant updates Riot games has has 2.5k workers and exclusively worked on league of legends for an entire decade, and it has because the most popular game in the world with updates every 2 weeks, new champions released every couple months, in game events and more Bungie has 800 employees, and has decided to drop the necessary extra studios [b]and[/b] develop a new game.

There are several examples of success. People who bought silver in the past contributed to it. I hope they all enjoy the lesser game we all have because of them. Enjoy!

1 ReplyThis game is a nothing anymore it's not even a game. Pvp is a god damn joke how you play doesn't matter who you play doesn't matter only thing that matters are you at a 49% win loss or a 50%. Played 4 games today loss win loss win. Stomp stomp stomp stomp. You are basically a piece of meat at this point beyond stupid. Gambit all 3 games were losses just full on stomps with us having the double health double damage enemies to fight. Seriously you know if you are going to win a round of pvp in the first 10 seconds. If the first guy you see is moving at 2x sprint speed well he also has 2x damage and 2x def and you are losing that round. If he is shooting you in the face with a sniper rifle while the weapon switch animation is still playing you are losing that round. It is just stupid. Looks like all Bungie did when they had that bug in the connection and skill based matchmaking tools 2 years ago was just use those two tools to rig game outcomes. Sick of this shit this is not even a game anymore it is just something you sit through.

5 RepliesD2 kinda sucks but saying d1 was a fantastic game simply isn’t true. If we flipped the games around in terms of content we’d all love d2 more simply because we got a lot more stuff over it’s life cycle. D1 has year gaps basically between real content drops. D2 while the content hasn’t been the best stuff ever we’ve never really had much of a content drought. There has always been something relatively newish to go do. We’d have killed for anything whatsoever during d1’s life cycle like a -blam!-ing story mission that sucked would have been well received at times.

You don't enjoy the game anymore so what is stopping you from playing something else, if you have not already done so that is and if so why are you even here? Are you looking for someone to agree with you, feel the pain you are feeling and validate your choice to stop playing? If you are then I am pretty sure you will easily find that here in the salt-filled wilderness that is bungie.net forums.
