Garden of Salvation Drops
Bungie. Can this ever be addressed? One of the few end game activities where we can get pinnacle rewards and basically every drop is an energy weapon. All 3 characters I think I got 2 total armor pieces. If you can't adjust drop rates than simply make other, older raids pinnacle activities too. Can do a rotation. Just super tiring running an activity to get the same sniper/auto rifle/shotgun at the same power level over and over. Thanks.

1 ReplyI agree, it’s annoying. I wish you could choose what you wanted judged by the number of completions you have. For example, you have 10 completions you can pick what you want out of the first chest. You have 20 you can pick what you want out of the second chest, and so on. Would give people incentive to want to play the raid every week or at least me anyway

Yeah, I mean, I’d rather have raid encounters drop random vanguard gear than this. Maybe they could make the first two encounters powerful and have the guaranteed armor from the chest be pinnacle. Obviously this would have its own problems, but I’d argue it would be more rewarding than what we have.

70% of my GoS rewards have deen energy weapons. I'm amazed to have a full set of armor on 2 characters. And why the hell is there no heavy weapon in this raid?

I feel your pain. Two weeks in a row nothing but energy weapons. Something has to be done about this. You want to give us aspirational content but is the point if the reward structure is garage. Complete and utter waste of time

Yesterdays raid; 4 energy weapons on level I had & boots on level I already had. Add 2 more Energy weapons from other pinnacles & I MADE ZERO PROGRESS this week. Good stuff.

They know about these issues thats why were getting more pinnacle sources this season. I think all that will do is devaluate the pinnacle loot. This pinnacle thing was a stupid idea in the first place.

True. I only have 11 clears of the Garden raid and have also noticed multiple pinnacle drops in the same slot. 3-special weapons and 1-primary last week. No armour. You then run Pit. I have probably 30 clears and more often than not your armour drop is in the same slot of your highest armour item. On Wednesday had a 1006 cloak equipped and guess what? I get another cloak. Albeit at 1007 but not a chest, boots, or arms which are all 1005. A real lack of pinnacle activities also contributes to how bad the drops can be when you don’t get what your character needs.

That's statistics for you. Most of the loot pool is special so you get special most of the time. If you want primary and heavy go to nightfalls

Drops have been bugged since the raid came out. Bungie hasn’t confirmed it but theres plenty of anecdotal evidence for there being a bug where once something drops once you are most likely going to get that same drop next time you do that encounter.

Update last char: only needed gauntlets even did challenge, nothing but weapons the whole raid. Yo Cosmo, tell your team to do something about the overflow of weapons from Garden of Salvation!

Just made a post about that, and the fact that most pinnacles drop in slot with your highest gear. It's infuriating.
