Been playing for 6 years and got banned

Dear Bungie, 2 weeks ago we decided to pay a visit at my grandparents before our government would make some drastic changes to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Because the new season had just begun I decided to bring my PS4 and Destiny 2. When I started playing I noticed the internet wasn't that great to play Destiny 2, but it was acceptable. I only had troubles loading into The Tower a couple of times. During the weekend me and some clanmates decided to play some Trials of Osiris. The first couple of matches I had nu issues, but after a few rounds I started to disconnect and reconnect from Trials. (Had a black screen a couple of times and loaded back in as a dead ghost). Wasn't really an advantage for me and because of these things that were happening I decided to stop and play the next weekend. But when I came back home I was already banned. I think because players reported my bad connection during a couple of those matches?? Being such a dedicated player for 6 years and always being really helpfull in this game I really want you guys to check if it's possible to give me back my account. Or could anyone just tell me the reason and length of this ban? I provided a link from Destinytracker so you guys can check I'm not lying. Please help me out and let me play one of my favorite games again ! Thanks in advance, Elite_Guardian94

  • Perma banning a player with 4 thousand combined hours in D1 and D2 for lagging one weekend seems a bit excessive. Maybe a warning or a temporary ban would’ve been more reasonable?
