to clarify, are you banned as in can't get into the game at all? or restricted as in i can't get into match making activities like pvp?

I can't get into the game at all. When I try to login it gives a message saying: "this account is banned"

ok. a ban on console is rare. it could have something to do with playing from a different location but usually it's something in game that was reported like extreme insults, racial stuff, general hate, things like that. there is an appeal you can go fill out and maybe get a response why but maybe not. search the 'help' at the top of the page for 'bans' and you should find it.

Already tried to fill in the form but 2 weeks later and I still didn't get a reply to this. I do make use of cross save (PS4 - PC), but prefer to play on PS4 because that's always been my main account.

Did you perhaps have some cheat engine, trainer or such (for other games) active as you played?

Not that I'm aware off. The only thing I ever downloaded to help me in a game is an auto clicker. Previous season I just had to download it to buy a lot of materials at Spider. But I saw popular streamers using it, so that shouldn't be the issue I guess

I mean, Gladd even used it while he was doing other things (eating, taking a shower, going to the bathroom, ...). If he doesn't get banned for it, neither should I.

Gladd probably used a macro, not a downloadable program. Rip your account dude

I run a Corsair k95 keyboard with macro keys that can be programmed. Once done, the game only sees key presses. Not something controlling how the keyboard presses are done. Not trying to be a dick, just seeing if you are aware of the differences and how it possibly could've hit your account. I'm not saying that's what caused the ban either. It could've been the crappy internet you were using. Could've been a combination of things. Hopefully you get it sorted out. I know you said you filled out the form a couple weeks ago and have yet to hear anything back. That also completely sucks but you also have to understand the circumstances we are all under right now. With the Bungie employees working from home this type of thing might take a bit longer for a reaction. Again... It sucks but it is what it is.
