Iron Banner Quest Not Awarding Progress
I’ve played 3 matches of iron banner today, the quest only counted progress for the first match and the third match. First two matches were full games and the third one was a join in progress. I think IB bounty progress was normal but I’m not sure

It happened to me just now- it was after my controller had switched itself off while I was making a snack. Maybe just a coincidence but it’s been progressing perfectly otherwise.

Ive been getting this for like 12 months now and in every crucible mode, i never got any responses to my posts in the help forum though

Like someone else said, if you get into the match with your artifact light boost still on, you will get no progress on iron banner quest or bounties, and neither will you get loot at the end of the match. I get this about one in five matches. Funny, you'd think they'd at least respond...

Just played a complete round of IB. I'm on SMG step with my 2nd character. I just played a round with more than 10 SMG final blows and received no progress. Progress is still at 4/20, which is the same as before the match started.

just had the same issue. I changed characters after match that didn't count, although tracker worked [url]https://www.bungie.net/en/PGCR/5965592021?character=2305843009358886213[/url]: . went back to character played a matched and seemed to start working. really frustrating that a full game didn't count, nor quest progress. Will Bungie fix or transition progress that is tracking into the quest somehow?

This shit is happening for 3 straight seasons now on IB no jokes they never listen not here not on IG and not on Twitter! The loading in the game is also shit it takes ages to log in and ppl get kicked in middle of matches just like that!

Same here. Matches often just don't count for anything, IB bounties or Cast in Iron. PS4

Yes I just completed my first IB and made zero progress on both quest steps and bounties. It's as if I didn't play at all. Even the Director says 0/4. But here's proof that I played https://destinytracker.com/destiny-2/pgcr/5962590239 It was on Endless Vale. I did pick up the quest from Saladin as well as all the bounties. And it's actually as if the whole match doesn't exist because I had some standard red crucible bounties and none of them show any progress either (just in case you think I maybe chose Control by mistake). I had capture zones (which I had 5) and cast supers (which I did twice) and both show zero. I'm hesitant to do more matches if they aren't going to count.

OK so I was not going insane. I had only 5 hand cannon kills left and it took me more then 10 HC final finish kills, all by myself, no team mates anywhere using only my Crimson to get those 5!!!

Same for me, but it also didn't count progress for bunker quest which involved sidearm kills in crucible (or vex killing).

2 RepliesJust had this happen to me. Not a join in progress but the map was Vostok. Didn’t count for progress on bounties or quest. Let’s make a list of maps affected and forward it to Bungie. So far I have Vostok Dead Cliffs Let’s keep this going

did a similar thing in gambit the other day - none of my bounties were counting/progressing until my 3rd match in. Chalk it up to another network issue with the spaghetti coding on [i]their[/i] end (even though they will say its ours).

It seems when you start a match check your light level if you still have the bonus light level from the artifact back out theirs a glitch or bug cause it was happening to me and my clan.

1 ReplyThis seems to be an old and persistent issue. It also affects Valor and loot drops you get at the end of matches. I'm wondering why this isn't fixed yet.

Bow kills not counting for me... I’ve switched to 3 different ones, changed characters and am considering logging out for good after this crap.

Same. For me it wasn’t tracking submachine gun final blows for like 2 games then just stopped tracking flag captures for awhile.

I had 19 / 25 and then i had a game where i got 10 hand cannon kills and didn’t register ....

Need to restart destiny for the progress to count again. This is beyond stupid.

I have had this issue 3 times since the start of the season. Random crucible match that does not count progress towards bounties or the 4 matches completed for powerful. Frustrating!
