Can we keep the Destiny forums positive?
I have been on the forums a few times, and every time I get on it's the same experience reading people's posts. DESTINY SUCKS. STOP RESKINING WEAPONS. BUFF [____]. BUNGIE, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.
Come on guys, we are all just players playing Destiny. If Bungie tried to satisfy every single persons needs they will never get anything done and just fall down towards Destiny 3. They want to keep Destiny 2 alive and keep telling the story they have been developing over the past 7 years. If that involves reskinning weapons just so they can say they got the new content out, then so what? We're here to play the game Bungie offered. We don't have control over their decision, so just let it go.
There will always be a split in the community over Destiny on some subject, but know that Bungie is trying their best to give us what we want.

2 RepliesWe do have control over whether we choose to play for lack lustre rewards, re skinned content and the continued in your face Eververse pushy money grab. If players were not passionate and did not complain about in game issues, then they wouldn’t care where the game was headed and would stop playing... apathy is the game killer. Of course that doesn’t include abusive, personal attacks on bungie which are pathetic and not at all constructive.

Destiny has its great moments and its bad ones, currently it's going through a bad one as they announced the retirement thing and it's by far the worst idea they could have done. People grinded, people played and people hoped to get a specific god roll weapon for both PvE and PvP are basically going to lose that because you won't be able to infuse it past a certain level anymore and to be truly honest... I see what they WANTED to do, shake up the crucibal metas and add variety, unfortunately they took the worst possible route to it. They've basically made hours, days or even months of hard grinding useless and people do have a right to be angry... I myself am slightly niffed but either bungie will see they did a big oopsie or they will ignore the community. Its happened before and it will happen again. I just hope they realise they might have gone overboard slightly. Edit. Apparently it got quadruple posted and I can't remove the others so... Unusal bugs.

2 RepliesNot expecting this comment to be favored, but I've wanted to get this off my chest for a while now. I have no problems with the amount of complaint posts [i]when they're constructive[/i]. However, when people just scream "Destiny sucks. PvP sucks! The game's dead! Wahhh!" or similar patch-worked copypastas without reasonable substance, then I'm going to ignore them if not laugh. Thinking that every decision Bungie makes ultimately results from laziness or greed is just a massive fallacy. Now I'm not saying they're full of saints either, nor am I gonna defend the bad decisions they make. They [b]do[/b] deserve flak when they screw something up. But if you're just going to vehemently scream at them, then you're just giving them less of a reason to want to listen to you. After all, if given an argument, would you rather discuss it with someone willing to voice their opinion calmly or someone with a jet engine for a mouth? Disagree with their decisions if you don't like them by all means. Just don't be a complete ass about it.

It's free for them. If they are smart they use that information. That the threads in these forums are mostly negative shows them actually that the people like the game but not the way it's going. People who are satisfied won't talk about it in most cases anyway. Bungie is smart enough to know they will always just satisfy maybe half of the player base. It is more important to them that the other half is big enough to keep the game alive. It is like in real life.

He gives her candy instead. Wife asks husband to give her a blue car but he gives her red. As it continues to be like this over a long period of times, wife will starts to think if he truly care about her or not. That's how I feel about Bungie. Fans asked about many things but Bungie gives us something different in return. How do you think we feel?
