Next time you test a cheat, you should just make a new account so not to risk your main account being banned.

1 ReplyEven in private games using a cheat may cause the game itself to report you to Bungie. Bungie then investigated and issued the ban. Tip never cheat in a online game even if you think it won't affect other people.

You’re lying. You were “testing” the hack in a private match to figure out how to use it in a public match. Your account is done. Bungie doesn’t unban cheaters. Edit: Also, since you linked PC and Console, both are now banned.

2 RepliesThey are banned rather regularly. All it takes is a quick perusal of the #help forum. Unfortunately, with the game being free-to-start, they just create burner accounts and go right back to it, until they earn a hardware ban. Also, tsk tsk. Never cheat in an online multiplayer game. I won't begrudge anyone doing what they want in an offline game, but it is never, ever, ever permissible to cheat in an online MP game. PvP or PvE doesn't matter. Just don't do it ever.
