Same exact activity with a couple extra champions and a different boss that has the exact same mechanics, and at 750, the same difficulty. No new loot either of course, should go without saying at this point.
This is Bungie without Activision. A looter shooter without any loot and guns that will eventually never shoot if the nerfs keep flowing, with nothing worth even shooting anyways. AV holdovers and sub-studios all left after S7 was finished being developed. Since then, lazy, hollow content everywhere except Eververse. I'd be mad, but like I said, this was seen coming by everyone with even a quarter of a brain. Disappointment is the word I'm looking for.
Edit: I can only imagine what people are saying about me knowing full well they were muted a long time ago

Tbh. I 100% expected to be disappointed. I saw it coming but I was somehow still disappointed. I'm just gonna hit 100 season rank and buy monkey ball on my switch.
-
Actually the people that didn't see it coming were all the bungie defenders saying how great things were going to be now that Activision was gone. Yeah look how great it is guys! Look! Look! This is bungie without activision.
-
They aren't saying very much
-
Why put in real work on content when Eververse is just so easy to cash in on
-
It’s cool as long as Datto is fine with it. Your opinion? F your opinion. My opinion? F my opinion.
-
I never expected anything from it, so I'm a little confused about all the tantrums being thrown about. We did get another activity and new weapons / exp bonuses for 10 bucks, what were you expecting anyway?
-
Destiny is a lazy pile of garbage in general.
-
So you saw it coming a mile away and still gave bungie money? Thats not very smart is it?
-
Edited by fuhd79: 11/21/2019 8:01:05 AM"Seen coming by everyone with quarter of a brain"? "Saw this coming a mile off"? So why do you idiots keep throwing your money at bungie? If you expect to be disappointed by what you've paid for, why keep paying? It really is the epitome of stupidity!
-
So if you knew it would be garbage why did you pay for it?
-
That’s the sad part . We all wanted something special and deep down we all knew it was going to be a big steamy pile of bungie shit .
-
Vote with your wallets, people. Dumbgie will start listening when their revenue begins to dwindle.
-
The bungie defenders are now saying “what hype” or “call the wambulance” (I’m looking at you richghost). They can’t even construct a reasonable argument to defend bungie.
-
Final Assault = disappointing Overall, the season was great. This season (and the whole year) will be all Bungie. Activision can -blam!- themselves, I'm glad they're out of the picture. I just wish we could bury their name with the contract and piss on it. Sure, they missed the mark on a lot. But saying the content is "hollow", or flat out not there just isn't an honest argument.
-
It wasn't that Final Assault is inherently bad. Just that it's effectively identical to an activity we've been doing for weeks. Hard to be excited, given the circumstances.
-
Edited by TJ_Dot: 11/20/2019 7:39:32 PMAnd when they inevitably "apply" this lesson to next year's content, everyone will already be gone
-
fake season lazy content =)
-
This is the new bungle. Get used to it.
-
Lol majority of the community pathetically ate up the bullshit marketing like good little fanboys and fangirls. What are you talking about? I want Destiny to be a good game. But its clear that Bungie has picked up on the broad community belief that tons of content rather than quality content constitues a "great" game.
-
Truth.
-
No that’s pretty spot on. Bungie just needs to be more transparent about expectations. I feel like I got stood up on date night.
-
Stop buying silver. The only way to wake them up. Otherwise they'll just keep crapping on us.
-
Sounds like u need a waaaambulance dear
🚑
-
You have to admit, though, the music was good.
-
Final Grif more like it, How people justify paying upwards of 40 bucks for dlc for this game astounds me.
-
I'm not going to complain too much. I saw it coming just because really, how much effort do people think Bungie is going to put into disposable content? One has to wonder though, why is the portal behind Ikora still incomplete? What is she doing, and why is that even there if it had nothing to do with the Offensive?
