Do fusions need to be nerfed, such as the Erentil FR4 and the Wizened Rebuke?
-
Nerf back up plans. Then all better
-
They kill me and I kill with them. Just like any other weapon. That’s pretty much it.
-
Fusions aren’t a problem. It’s the roll combos that are the issue
-
Precision frame fusions (aka main ingredient) are where all fusions should be, can consistently kill out to 20m, but can’t map people at 27-35m like erentil can.
-
High impact fusion rifles need a slight range tweak and Backup Plan perk removed. That's all that is needed.
-
Just tweak the range and don’t let erentil roll with backup plan. Other than that, they’re fine.
-
I’ve gotten some STUPID erentil kills in my time. Using a fusion just makes crucible easier, they need to be toned down
-
Fusions the same as shot guns cheap kills
-
Fusions themselves I feel are fine. My point of contention revolves around special ammo availability.
-
Looks like your poll didn't work as intended. Apparently the majority of people are ok with them.
-
My erentil tickles enemies from a range that's closer than me touching their chests with mine. Yes I use erentil but rarely. Sue me.
-
Fusions are good right now because of all the apes. Shoulder Charge, shotguns, and even over zealous arc battery hunters thinking they're invincible. If the meta shifts to a slower playstyle, fusions will probably struggle.
-
"fusions" don't need a nerf High impact fusions need a perk pool change and fusions as a whole should return to projectile based weapons and not hitscan
-
Well, we know what you think about it lmao

Recluse has 1.019 kills for eack 1.0% of usage (think of it as an efficiency rating. if 10 out of 100 people used it but they got 15% of all the kills it would have a 1.5 ratio and you would say that gun is doing well) in comp and 0.988 kills for each 1.0% of usage in quickplay. It's actually not that good by the numbers, but it's everywhere so perception. Now the reason I brought this up is fusions. Erentil is 1.422 comp and 1.29 QP. Wizened Rebuke 1.28 comp and 1.122 QP. Jotunn is 1.514 in comp and 1.36 in QP. They are performing far better than the infamous Recluse looking at how many kills they get vs. how much they are used, so when the nerf hits and perception is Recluse finally stinks, a lot of people are going to fill that energy slot with a fusion rifle. Give it time, but they are going to be an even bigger problem than recluse ever was. Just for comparison, DRB performs at a 1.007 in comp and a 1.009 in QP. Incredibly well balanced at the moment, pretty much equal kills for the number of people using it. Revoker is a little better with a 1.106 in comp and about balanced in QP at 0.975. Two other very good special ammo weapons don't hold up. Anyways, I think over time there isn't even going to be an argument of high impact FR being too strong. The only reason people haven't melted down is perception. Recluse gets used a ton so it has to be OP (even though the numbers say it really isn't), over time people will favor fusions because they actually are. If you feel that % kills vs. % usage isn't a good way to look at how well a gun performs, by all means feel free to disagree. I'd like to find a better way using data, I'm not a fan of public perception.

Don’t really use them don’t really find them too bad to play against
-
They don’t need a nerf. This idiotic meme needs to die. They aren’t over powered. They have both weapons and play style counters. If you’re dying to high impact fusions and it makes you sad don’t beg for a nerf, just do the bare minimum amount of thought it takes to figure out how to play against it.
-
Well there’s ganna be a lot more thanks to the recluse nerf 🥱
-
Man, the nerf boyz in this community just love chasing their tails over and over. Going begging from one nerf to the next. These guys will never figure out they are in the wrong game.
-
I feel like the high impact fusions need a bit of a range reduction. And the faster firing fusions could use a small buff. Other than that they’re in a pretty good place.
-
Besides firmly planted they're exactly where they need to be, they need to bring up Main Ingredient.
-
They need a buff if anything.
-
Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 11/16/2019 11:23:16 PMThey will probably get nerfed if they get over used, in Bungies eyes. I don't really care either way. I use them because they are an effective tool in PvP.
-
They actually need to be buffed.
-
Pretty much the only counter to shotguns which are way more of a problem than fusions.
-
They'll get nerfed because you all can't seem to stop talking about them. Then the d1 Nerf cycle will be complete.
