New Account Can't Link BNet Account

Hey guys, Just made a Bungie account to migrate my game to Steam. Even though I have my Steam account linked, when I click to link my Bnet Account I get the message that I need to verify my email address which I already did. Does anyone know fix for this?

  • I had to retry my own "PCMove" clickfest, several times, but eventually got the green message on top of the Bungie Website, that my move was successful. This is what I did: 1. Created the Bungie Account (just like you). You will be asked to verify the account by clicking on the URL you received via mail. After that the cookie is set to recognize you as a Bungie account holder. Otherwise, refresh the Bungie page (F5) or restart your browser and restart the process of moving. 2. Opened store.steampowered.com in a 2nd browser tab and logged in, so the Bungie website already has my logged-in Steam account visible, when they request it. 3. Proceeded with the Bungie website process until, I saw the Bungie account (top) and the Steam Link (bottom) and the message to 'link' both accounts at the very bottom of the web template. … then it just worked. What I did wrong before (several times) and was stuck in, was the "link" page, because I was clicking on the Steam icon (bottom box) instead of the "Link" message box below it. Made the process stuck in a JavaScript loop. So far, "Destiny 2" does no show up in my Steam Client, nor as 'purchased' on my new Bungie website account profile page. Only the 'red banner' on top of the Bungie page: "Destiy 2 PC is movint to Steam for …" … has now turned green, as mentioned before. Good luck, transfarting!

    • Have you verified your email for Blizzard on their website using their service? Have you verified your email for Bungie.net on this website using this service? Blizzard and Bungie are two different companies, and having an email contact for one that's verified doesn't mean it verifies for the other.
