I would understand the ban if I was actually doing something bannable that I was aware of. I was just playing the game and out of no where I got kicked from the game and then I got a pop-up on screen saying I got banned without any reason as to why. There isn't any real way to contact bungie directly, I just want my account back.

On pc it’s due to programs you have running in the background. Maybe be honest what you have running to learn what got you banned but all bans are final.

Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929 https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47715 *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.

Make sure you’re banned, not restricted. Restrictions apply only to PVP. Restrictions are placed manually on accounts that are deemed to be repeatedly ruining game experiences for others in PVP, or gambit. Restrictions will not be overturned until their duration has passed. Use this time to stabilise and improve your network connection so that you stop harming games for other players. The first restriction will last two weeks. If you do not fix your connection, the next will be two months. If you still persist in ruining the game for others, you will be permanently banned from PVP in Destiny 2. Please be considerate of others and work on fixing your connection, to avoid further repercussions. Bans are manually placed on accounts following account investigation that turns up behaviour that justifies the action being taken. These investigations can be started by multiple reports of cheating or otherwise disallowed behaviour over a long time period. Alternatively, bans may be placed after the Destiny 2 app on PC detects potential cheat software and flags it, sending data to Bungie - again requiring manual confirmation for a ban to be placed. In all seriousness, and with respect, Bungie has found reasonable evidence that you have broken the Destiny code of conduct in some way and been appropriately punished for it. There is no way to appeal a ban or have it overturned. Bungie does not discuss or revoke restrictions or bans.

There are no ways to contact Bungie outside of the forums. Bans are final and will not be changed. You are on PC. Likely you had a program running that flagged Bungie's team to review. You had something running that shouldn't and Bungie banned because of it. This is lifetime. The only way to play the game is to create a new account and purchase the game again. If doing so, be sure you know exactly what is running on your computer, even in the background, or it will happen again.

You don't get banned from a single event like that. It takes multiple times leaving games to pop up on Bungie's radar. What else have you been doing? Bad connection? Quitting too much?
