Prismatic Inferno Concern With Deleted Characters

Hello, I'd like to ask about the "Prismatic Inferno" emblem that you can obtain if you had played Crucible when it was "Laser Tag Weekend", between 10am on the 8th of December and 10am on the 12th in 2017. Now, I know I have played Crucible during this time. As soon as the Prometheus Lens was found to be overpowered, I spent almost all of my time playing in Crucible to see how many kills and how much fun it was to tap the laser on someone and instantly kill them. However, my main concern is that during that time I was using a character that I have since deleted. This normally wouldn't seem like much of a problem, other than the fact that it shows on websites such as this to find that because I have erased my older characters, all of the time documented on those characters are no longer available. I know this to be the case since I am a beta tester of Destiny 2 and played since it premiered on PC (I have the emblem to corroborate that story) yet the time on this calendar states that no activity in that time ever happened. Now I know this is not an official Destiny endorsed website or app showing times played during which dates, which is why I would like to pose the question directly: Do deleted characters' progress and playtime count towards this emblem? If not, that would be a very disappointing announcement to know, as I wish I would have kept that character then just for the emblem (the emblem is one of the coolest so far, Bungie, great job on the design btw). I would assume other players who have been playing since 2017 also have this question or concern as well, which is why I am asking it publicly. If this has been asked or answered before, I apologize and please let me know immediately so that I and others can learn of the answer to this question. Thank you for reading.

 • Emblems from past events are always quite iffy. From objective perspective this emblem shouldn’t be character based, but account based. But from a technical perspective, you probably should have at least one current character that played Crucible during that time. (Easiest way Buggie can implement a check to award or not award that emblem to players.) So, you might be SOL. But that is just my guess, too. PS personally I’m slightly bummed that I have only 3 legacy emblems from my actions in D1 (day 1 player). I missed most because I only played Age of Triumph after the cutoff date for consideration, so things like past grimoire scores etc. didn’t count for anything.
