Destiny 2 seems unable to detect any microphone/unable to speak in game (PC) Please help me Bungie...

Sorry if this is a bit long, but I want to explain as best as I can because I have already tried a number of things, so I feel that will help any attempts to resolve the issue. I feel there is a strong possibility it may require developer assistance at this point though, but I will explain why further down: I spoke to a mentor (DragonWithin) in another thread and he suggested that if it still was not working after his suggestions to post again to see if i can get some more PC savvy people to assist. Destiny 2 is the only game or application I have this issue with in my library of hundreds. I have tried and tested 3 different microphones (AT 2005 USB, Astro A40s with mixamp plugged in to the optic port, and my Logitech HD pro C920 webcam built in microphone) that all work in every other game or application. They also check out fine in the battle.net settings microphone test, and work in Overwatch as well. (I bring this up to point out it is working in other games from the battle.net launcher, but not Destiny 2 specifically) I've tried deleting the cvars file, I've tried a scan/repair (found nothing) as well as a complete reinstall of Destiny 2. I have checked antivirus and firewall settings and made sure destiny and battle.net are both trusted and excluded (pretty much completely free of all scrutiny or anything that could impede the applications) as well as tried turning on/off allowing applications to take exclusive control of the microphone. I have tried with push to talk set as well as open mic set (in both battle.net settings as well as within Destiny 2 to keep things consistent. I would assume Destiny 2 is supposed to use the battle.net settings due to the fact there are no in game settings to choose audio input/output sources. I have also made sure the devices were not muted in any way (buttons on them, windows settings, no mute key bound in battle.net settings.) At this point I am at a loss and, unless Destiny 2 has some hidden settings somewhere or I somehow missed something that would only be affecting Destiny 2, I'm beginning to suspect that the problem may require developer assistance. One of the only other explanations I can think of is that Destiny 2 specifically, for some reason, might not be compatible with certain hardware. (Hardware conflict of some kind?) The game appears to act as though there is no microphone plugged in at all. (I have tried unplugging and plugging back in, different ports, and so on.) I have had friends sit in fireteam with me while i try to troubleshoot and fix to confirm that my voice is not working and that there is no indicator of having a microphone when set to be in the voice channel. I will attach a dxdiag here as well as list hardware specs in case needed, but this has been an issue ever since I got the game on PC, and it took 3 forum posts before I finally got any assistance from anyone on this particular matter. (The one that finally got some attention was me venting my frustrations about never being able to get assistance in the past and being almost turned away from Bungie completely as a result.) Again, big thanks to DragonWithin for trying to help me with this last night, and I hope his suggestion of posting again looking for people who are better versed with the PC version turns up a solution... My PC Setup: I am running windows 7 professional x64-bit operating system Intel Core i7-5820K LGA2011V3 3.3Ghz 6-core CPU, Asus STRIX GTX 980 TI GDDR5 6GB 384Bit PCI-E 3.0 DVI/HDMI/Display Port, Corsair H105 Liquid CPU Cooler 240MM, ASUS X99-A LGA2011-v3 DDR4 Motherboard, Corsair 1000W ATX 12V 80+ Gold Modular Zero RPM Fan Power Supply, Corsair Vengeance 32GB (488GB0 3000MHz DDR4 RAM, Corsair Graphite 780T ATX Full Tower Black, Kingston HyperX Fury 240GB SSD, Western Digital 4TB Caviar Black HDD - WD4003FZEX Microphones tested were listed above. At this point I feel actual Bungie staff would be the most helpful, but I haven't had much luck getting in touch with any of them in the past so not gonna get my hopes up there. If anyone has any other ideas or can think of something I have missed that would be only affecting Destiny 2 PLEASE get in touch. This has been a persistent problem ever since I got Destiny 2 on PC, and I've been stuck having to use discord to communicate via voice, and forced to type in any other matchmade activity where in game voice would likely be required due to not having a discord server in common with blueberries. I will attach dxdiag as a seperate post because it looks like it's going to be a huge wall of text.
