Forsaken complete edition price differences

First of all: I understand that you receive many questions about buying Forsaken, but i have not been able to find an answer to my specific question on the forums. I wish to get back into Destiny, and right now "Forsaken - Complete Collection" seems to be the option that most people recommend, because it is only 40$. I already own the base game and year one content. However, on the Danish PS Store, the complete collection costs an equivalent of 112$! That is somewhat of a different price. And it is the only option available on the danish PS store for buying Forsaken, as far as I can tell. US: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0002-CUSA05042_00-D2FRSCOMPLETE001 DK: https://store.playstation.com/da-dk/product/EP0002-CUSA06172_00-D2FRSCOMPLETE001 What is up with this? Is there any chance that the Danish price will drop to the US equivalent any time soon? Do I have any other option than to pay 112$ (which is totally out of the question, by the way)? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Different countries and regions have price disparities because of laws, taxes, and other various expenses that can cause an apparent difference between what's charged there and elsewhere. You'd need to contact Sony to ask why the price is so much higher in your location than a different region of the world. I also noticed that your pricing doesn't include the discount that should be applied to the Complete Collection currently, so this might be part of the cause as far as why it seems so much more expensive for you. It may be likely that your regional regulations don't allow for discounts and the like or that Sony doesn't offer discounts in your locale. Either way, you'll need to contact Sony for pricing specifics. Bungie sets the base value of their product, known in the US as manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), and retailers generally charge people the equivalent of that price when selling the product. However, retailers buy the product from the owning company wholesale, and then those retailers decide what to charge for the product they now own and are selling to others; the retailers ultimately decide whether or not to sell it at the suggested price (this is why some retailers have sales and some charge more based on supply/demand). Retailers choose the prices in the end, and in this case, your retailer is Sony, not Bungie.
