I do not understand my ban! Request for a quick answer.

Hello Bungie Team, I just got locked up by Destiny 2! I just finished killing the quest for the new grenade launcher in Strike "The Pyramidion" when I flew out of Destiny 2 and got the following message: "NOT SO FAST!" "This Account Has Been Suspended." "For more information, please visit bungie.net/ban/en" Of course, I looked around then on the website and read that I was seemingly PERMANENT banned, although there is expressly that there is a first warning, because I have never done anything and have not done synonymous, I understand the "PERMABAN" Not. Request for the fastest possible feedback! Greetings Hashirama # 21562

  • On pc you have a responsibility to make sure you know what is running. Bungie doesn’t have to differentiate between what is an odd program or not unless it is a permitted one. School programs, cheats for other games, coding lessons, etc. I’ve seen all these listed and all of them can get you banned thru the game. Maybe be more honest about what you run on your system posting here before asking why you were banned...

If it is your 2nd RESTRICTION it's USUALLY 2 months. RESTRICTIONS can stack on each other, usually due to the severity and frequency of multiple reports overtime. So 2 weeks AND 2 months, so to most players there won't be a 2nd splash screen and the RESTRICTION ends later than expected. RESTRICTIONS USUALLY end during the reset of that week and not the day of. In-Game Gambit/Competitive Crucible SUSPENSIONS are only 30-60mins and placed automatically if you leave too many games in a short time span for ANY reason. Whether it be a ddos, error code or power outage. They WILL NOT respond or message you. They WILL NOT tell why a punishment was issued. They don't have to. They don't care. There is no course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. The reasons most ppl have a punishment issued to them is: For some form of cheating (ddossing). Playing with cheaters (paying for a carry, sharing account info, or staying in a lobby with a cheater for too long and benefiting from their illegal actions). Or having consistently terrible internet connection that it affects OTHERS players and not just yourself. You may be playing fine. But to others you may appear as an unkillable red-bar. For most PC tagalongs: They are banned because SOMETHING installed on your PC was viewed as a POTENTIAL threat to D2 and those are promptly banned. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The Bungie monkey at HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not..

    • Bans are permanent and Bungie will niether respond to posts about them, nor will they lift them. It looks like you're on PC. What other programs did you have running while playing Destiny? Programs that are used for cheats and other code injecting software, whether for Destiny or not, can cause you to be banned.

    • Don’t know where you got the idea of having a warning first, unless your talking about connection issues then yes people will get a warning. Also just adding on to what mrbird33 said, you agreed to the Eula which states that Bungie doesn’t overturn bans nor will they discuss them.
