Allow us to disable the Drifter decal on Gambit Prime armor when not in Gambit Prime

Since Bungie seems set on never allowing Year 1 legendaries to have randomized stats there are very few Armor sets which actually look good. Some pieces of the Gambit Prime/Reckoning armors are great looking, such as the Titan arms and so on. When these items were first announced and I received them for the first time, I assumed that the armors decal would disable itself whilst not in Gambit Prime, because realistically who needs to know what class you are when not in Gambit Prime. I was quite disappointed when this was not an option, and that these armor pieces didn't do so automatically. Drifter decals on this armor when trying to mix and match armor sets (Which are important to players as it gives a degree of individuality amongst friends) ruin the look for anything but with their own sets. What I'm suggesting is the ability to toggle the decals in a way as to decide whether you want it to always be shown, or whether you want it to never be shown unless you're in Gambit Prime since it only has any effect there.

  • I just found it hard to get a decent shader on my set. I still have my Black Armory set that I plan to use for everything else though. My Prime set wont always be my main set.

    • I would like to see that the introductory quest for gambit to be removed and the decision if a player chooses to entertain that decision then it’s their choice and if someone like myself that that is not interested in gambit doesn’t have to put up with seeing a waypoint marker every time they go through the directory which could be added to the above post
