Instead of nerfing titan skating, bring back class mobility as it was in Destiny 1?

The mobility for all classes were nerfed on release of Destiny 2. I remember the first time loading up Destiny 2, hyped to use my control boost on titan which was faster than normal sprint speed in destiny 1, used it and, I wasn't going faster. I looked to the side of me to see my buddy sprinting the same speed. Hmm, I thought. I'll try hunter control jump. There was still, some invisible inertia limiting aspect that prevented me from actually moving faster over distance. Weird, I'll try warlock burst jump. It sort of worked. Least with the timing right it worked better than the other 2. In Destiny 1, titan skating wasn't an issue not because you can't macro or mouse wheel on a controller, but because the other two classes could move faster than sprint speed as well (hell I could stomp so fast on my hunter I could kill myself by running into walls). I propose a couple fixes, 1. Bring back all mobility for all classes, which inherently raises the skill gap. 2. For titans make strafe lift increase their lateral speed faster than sprint. Not an immediate speed boost, but if you are laterally travelling in one boost for say, .5 seconds there is a gradual acceleration up until the boost is used up. -Removing initial speed boost would prevent macro-ing with time intervals or mouse wheel. *To continue, make catapult lift, catapult people people upwards at a drastically faster speed, while simultaneously reducing their forward momentum/lateral movement speed upon activation. That would also fix macro/mousewheel. Or all of the above. I skate, I like the mobility. I warlock skate to the best of their ability as well. I don't want to see these movements removed into the ground, I just want to see them have a place in adding on to the skill gap. If my suggestions were implemented, I would be hard pressed making a choice between an "actual" catapult lift off (I mean if something is above my head I want to almost die from impact damage lift off speed) from catapult jump, and a lateral increase to speed. If the other classes had their old movement back, I'd be more prone to playing them. Middle tree solar warlock is probably my favorite class in the game because of all the sustain potential for yourself and teammates. But I don't play it as much because warlocks mobility are pretty meh, and I don't get points for healing teammates (which I could dive into another post lol).
