Free Forsaken soundtrack - hahaha JK (FIXED)

I got the email notifying me of my first Bungie Reward, a free copy of the Forsaken soundtrack, on September 29th. In the email, there was no mention of needing to redeem the code by a certain date. The only mention of a date was that the main story needed to be completed by September 30th - which I did. I was out of town when I got the email, but didn't worry about redeeming the code because there was no expiration mentioned. I went to try redeeming the code this morning and was told that it was expired and no longer possible to receive the reward. This is a problem! 1) If there was an expiration date on using the code, it should have been somewhere in the email - even in the fine print. I might have been able to find a way to redeem it had I known I was on the clock with this, especially since I've really enjoyed the soundtrack in-game. 2) TWO DAYS?! You give me two whole days from notification to expiration? Really? SOOOO not cool Bungie. It's a free soundtrack, you don't have to give us anything more than we pay for, it's a bonus. I get it. When you do it like this though, it's borderline insulting (and of questionable legality). It's not like you have limited quantities and ran out. It's not like you have to close the window on redemption by a certain date, either. Keep it exclusive - limit it to those who played and beat the campaign during the month of September. But give us a little more of a chance to redeem the reward. Please fix this Bungie. You can do better. Forsaken is proof of that. UPDATE: Bungie extended the window to redeem the code. Thank you Bungie!

  • Did you check your spam folder? I ordered the soundtrack the week of the launch because I finished the campaign on that week and I received the soundtrack with no issues personally you should contact the Bungie store not contact bungie.net no one will be able to help you you need to contact the Bungie store customer service department and submit a report with your order number as well as explain what happened maybe when you ordered it you put in the wrong email and if you did they can correct it it's no big deal but anytime you order something from a company that you contact the customer service department not the companies forums lol
