General feedback from a solo Player

It’s mostly good in PvE and PvP form me so far (have yet to play in competitive playlist, so can’t judge that as of yet) My biggest issue as a solo thus far in PvE is the 2nd and 3rd seed of light (unacquired on all three characters as of this post), which thus far has prevented me from playing 6 of the new supers. To this end a better way to match with people in a Blind well would be good (matchmaking ideally- same for escalation protocol too). As for the 3rd seed I hear there will be other ways of acquiring, so I reserve judgment on that for now. PvP wise, matchmaking against skilled teams could probably be looked at, but for the most part everything is a fair fight. I love gambit, even against ‘stacked teams’ - it makes the wins and almost-wins more exciting. Some in game raid group finder would be nice - haven’t tried Guided Games for a raid yet. Have yet to nightfall in Forsaken - Tried Guided Games in Year one nightfall; was good and didn’t ‘need mic’ for the help, will likely try soon as at a comfortable power level. Dreaming City: Love it, I think But matchmaking instances could be better (repeatedly fast traveling to find an instance with others to do Public Events is annoying). Not done ascendant challenge yet - levelling to a comfortable power level, but they look cool (no timers!!) Raid: Obviously I can’t take Riven by myself (or could I?). That wall of wishes has given me some fun looking around the raid space - and yes, that chest - even if starting a raid encounter spells immediate doom, I like to have a see how long I can survive. Raid Guided Games: never tried, the wait time is...too much. Levelling and Gear: All around great. Powerful gear drops lower that current gear holding me back in places - more RNG than anything to do with solo play I suppose. Bounties are good and mostly fun. Same with challenges. Not sure how I’ve been getting things from Dreaming City, but I’m learning- I like a mystery I can solve, even if not immediately. Exotic drops: these seem fine so far; had three year 1 exotics drop (good for infusion) and two new ones drop (LoW and Queenbreaker). Will need to wait a bit longer to see how it really feels. Infusion: When you get a higher level, bad roll duplicate? Great. When you get an exotic you know you won’t use? Great. Otherwise? Masterwork Cores are a problem; I worry for new players really. As a solo player I obviously cannot get into raids which drop masterworks at a higher rate, so the Spider is the only real option to obtain them. As someone with about 190 Masterwork Cores (had been saving them through year 1 for masterworking exotic weapons and armour in Year one...yeah, I was wrong about that) I worry about masterworking gear and infusion, so people who are new or otherwise have far less must be in a tougher spot. Masterworking: this I like, even at the greater cost; just waiting on Exotic Armour Masterworks to be a thing. TL/DR: I’m enjoying it on the whole. Need a means of matchmaking with others in Blind Well (also escalation protocol). Better instance matching In Dreaming City would be nice. Liking the secrets thus far. Loving Bounties and Challenges. Crucible is fun; matching against full teams is a question. Gambit is great. Reserving judgment on Competitive playlist, ascendant challenges and Guided Games and Nightfall until a later date. Parcel of Stardust: this is the shotgun of shotguns, just saying. Edit: Here’s a link to Lost Sols poll on the subject of solo players experience: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/248733618/0/0
