I was a solo player during TTK. I played the raid to get to max and it changed everything

I was once a solo player at light level 295. Once I found out I needed to do the raid to get to the max, I didn't complain online. I watched some streamers and then some tutorial videos on how to complete it. Streamers were great because they would answer questions during the raid, and you can watch their perspective. Then I started joining some LFG groups that would take me in. It took a couple of groups but eventually you'll find people that you'll click with. This is where everything changed. These people I met became my core group of online friends. Friendships were made while playing the raid. And this all started because I was a solo player that wanted to hit max light.

  • Cool post, but one little thing... You didn't need to raid to get to max light level, you just needed to grind (and grind and then grind some more) Or so say my three D1 toons that all maxed out...
