Stability isnt accuracy/recoil ???

I did some test with the risk runner smg and the skathelocke auto rifle. The risk runner has higher stability stats plus a mod that reduces recoil for the energy weapon, but its about 3x worse stable/accurate than the skathelocke ( which has lower stability and no recoil mods). I did these test by aiming at a wall and shooting both while aimed down the sights. The risk runner with more stability did approx 3x worse and bigger spread than the auto rifle with worse stability. Hopefully that was clear. So my question is why? Does less stability mean higher accuracy? (Sarcasm)

  • You are comparing a smg to an ar. Thats like comparing the range stats of a hand cannon to a scout rifle. Try comparing skathelocke to origin story.

    • If you want to test stability, use a Juggernaut Striker Titan and test the difference between firing a weapon when the “Frontal Assault” Perk is active and when it is not. That’ll give you an understanding of what Stability does.

    • You can’t compare an SMG to an AR. The visual stats are not comparable between weapon types, only within the same weapon time.

    • if you compare apples to oranges you will get incorrect results. A SMG is not the same as an autorifle so comparing the stats will not yield a fair comparison just my 2 cents worth

(Sarcasm)[/quote] The way I understand it is that recoil is the direction of the shots as they are fired and stability is the amount of recoil the weapon has. Better recoil makes the recoil more predictable (more vertical). Increased stability decreases the amount of recoil in any direction, but is also affected by range.
