I have tried everything, and I am at my breaking point...Weasel Error Code

TL;DR: Having Weasel error issues and have tried anything and everything to fix it myself. Nothing worked, so I'm posting here on the forum for help. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am going to apologize in advance for the lengthy post. I work in IT so I make sure to try all the troubleshooting I can think of before resorting to submitting to the forum. Also, it is late and I am very infuriated at the moment, so please bear with me. PROBLEM NOTE: Coincidentally, this started right after I bought my own internet equipment to save money on my internet bill. I now have an individual modem and router instead of a hybrid gateway. ANOTHER NOTE: I have a hard-wired connection to my router. I have always had a hard-wired connection for as long as I have been able. Anywho, to start out, I have been playing Destiny since almost the very beginning. Not quite a Day One player, but a Year 1 player. So I haven't had any issues with Destiny 2 until just recently. Shortly after I got new internet equipment, I started having issues staying connected to Destiny servers. I would always get the same error code: WEASEL. This would occur anywhere between 30 minutes to maybe 1 1/2 to 2 hours of playing. And a lot of the time, I would be in the middle of a mission or Crucible match or Strike, or maybe even just roaming around patrol, with no lag issues whatsoever, and no evidence of lag from my fireteam. So you can imagine I was getting very annoyed when it started becoming a recurring issue. I also started noticing how long it took for me to just get connected to the servers when starting up the game, before it would sign me in. TROUBLESHOOTING This is when I really ask for you to bear with me. I am trying to keep my cool as best I can. I also may forget something I tried in this list. Here's a list (to the best of my knowledge) of troubleshooting steps I have tried to make sure that I have tried everything in my power to fix the problem myself (aside from returning the BRAND NEW equipment I just bought): 1. Just quitting out of the game completely and starting it back up 2. Unplugged and replugged my ethernet cable on my Xbox as well as my router 3. Switched the plug that my ethernet cable is plugged into on the router 4. Power cycled my Xbox 5. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well as all of the extras I own 6. Reset my router 7. Cleared the cache on my Xbox by completely powering it down and unplugging it from the power brick for over 7 minutes. Plugged it back in, waited for the white light on the brick to turn orange and then powered up my Xbox. Like I said, maybe I've forgotten another thing or two that I have tried, but this is basically everything that I have tried. My internet equipment is all of maybe 2 weeks old at the MOST. I have speeds over 200Mbps download and over 20Mbps upload. I am hard-lined to the router. I am basically grasping for help here. I am utterly infuriated that it has even come to this. This shouldn't be an issue, but here we are. I don't want to have to go to the store to exchange my internet equipment, just to find out that it isn't the problem. I've never had any issues with any other games, or with my other devices. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I would appreciate it. Hell, I would really love it if someone at Bungie would give me a few words on this issue. I would love to keep playing Destiny because I'm a long-time fan of it, but you're making it really hard for me to play with just making me suddenly log out of the game completely, in the middle of an activity. Again, sorry for the long post. Just would like to keep playing what I paid for.

    1. Log into your wireless router and make sure there isn’t some janky firewall or weird program. 2.If you’re hardwired in try to use a cord no longer than 6ft and make sure it’s a quality cord. (yes, a cheap cord can be a huge unpredictable pain in the rear end) 3. Make sure there is no priority settings on. 4. A separate set of modem and router is always better than a hybrid, but companies that make routers that they sell for under 100$ operate like a shoe factory: it’s very possible the modem is slightly damaged and the download/Upload going through pushes it to reset. (So a last resort might be taking them both back to trade in for a new pair of the same thing) Also, Microsoft’s consoles are polished turds that do not contain half the components they claim to. Go PC or Sony. Much less issues.
