It's something that almost every other loot-based game has, so why not this? A friend of yours has a weapon you want, you have a weapon that he wants, yet you're not allowed to trade. Why? If anybody's concerned about certain items (exotics in particular) being too easy to get this way, then why not exclude them specifically from the list of tradeable items?
