Abroad right now and I can't play Destiny. Got me thinking, what if I could play Destiny on the go? Obviously the main game couldn't be ported to mobile (that's be ridiculous), but what if a mobile game existed? Here's what I'm thinking: 2D-Side scrolling shooter. You play as well-known characgers from the Destiny universe to fight against bad guys. Each character has two weapons, a grenade, and a super. Example, Cayde-6 would have the Ace of Spades, Stillpiercer, a tripmine grenade, and the Golden Gun. Additional characters could be unlocked, already owned characters could be upgradeable, improving their supers. There would be a main campaign AND each character would have their own side missions revolving around their own individual story arcs. Here's what I'd consider to be the best part: You can earn legendary shards, glimmer, xp, even exclusive weapons and armor for your Destiny 2 account. You beat the game with Cayde-6? You unlock the Ace of Spades and Stillpiercer for your Hunter in Destiny 2. You beat the game with Eris Morn? Here's the Thorn! (Oh hey, it rhymes!) We could even get a kickass Iron Lord helmet like Saladin's! I'm fairly certain this would not only give people satisfaction in the lore-department, but also be cool for completionists who like to collect stuff.
