New Raid "Panoptes' Domain" (Idea)

Full disclosure: This idea is shaped around my interpretation of how Panoptes works. Personally, I found how they used Panoptes to be very lackluster. This is a giant machine capable of pulling anything out of time and making it his own lethal simulation. I believe they could have made a very intricate and awe inspiring raid that involves Panoptes and the Infinite Forest. Raid Title: Panoptes' Domain Description: Panoptes has hidden himself away in the Infinite Forest's algorithm to repair himself after his last encounter with you, Guardian. Osiris has found a hole, but it's open for only a limited amount of time (No, this doesn't mean a literal timer). Gather your fire team and delve into a malfunctioning piece of the Infinite Forest. Panoptes has been cornered and as a last resort, created simulated worlds filled with simulated enemies of your past. Fight your way through these worlds and solve puzzles in the past, present and future versions of Mercury. Surviving these trials should brute force your way into the central hub of the Infinite Forest, where Panoptes is healing. Take him out and save all of time, Guardian! Intro: Arrive at the start of the Infinite Forest. Guardians are tasked fighting their way through randomly generated platforms, littered with powerful enemies. Every platform contains an Ultra Daemon. The type of Daemon can literally be any enemy race - even Gate Lord, Archon, Valus and Gatekeeper class enemies. Once the team has made their way to the end of the gate and enter the portal, the team is faced with a randomly picked foe from a past strike. These strike bosses are specifically from D1 and their arena is also brought forward. However, since it’s only a damaged simulation, some things have changed with the boss. Once the random boss is defeated, the fireteam moves through a Vex gate where they are transported to Mercury, either in the past, present, or future. Once a timeline is chosen, a random puzzle made for that timeline is chosen. You have the chance to get one of five puzzles. There are five different puzzles in each timeline. The puzzle you’re faced with is a rather simple one. Once completed, a gate will open. Once the Guardians jump through, they are transported to a randomly chosen location. This location is one of the many bosses you face before you fight the raid boss. The boss and arena is also taken from D1, revamped and corrupted from the damaged Vex simulation. The fights will be different, so don’t let the Veterans get too bossy. Once the team defeats this randomly selected boss, they are presented with another gate that leads closer to the middle of the Infinite Forest. Once through, your team is faced with the exact same puzzle scenario. Past, Present, or Future. However, these are a different batch of puzzles. They are much more mind bending than the last batch. Can your team figure it out? If your team is successful, another gate will appear. Enter it and find yourself in yet another simulated area. It should feel familiar, because your team has been transported into a random final raid boss room, revamped and plagued by corrupted Infinite Forest code. Mechanics will be different, don’t let veteran raiders tell you different. After you defeat the boss, you’ll be presented with another gate. Jump through and run through the hardest puzzles imagined. These will test team compatibility, as it divides the team up, either in two teams of three, or three teams of two. Can your team make it out? If so, you will unlock the last gate in the raid, leading to Panoptes. Fight through his trials and decimate his defenses, landing the final blow, saving all of time and getting rid of this foe for good. If this gets a strong and positive reaction, we’ll take an in depth look on what changes Guardians will face with each randomly picked boss, the loot that will drop and the puzzles they’ll face. Happy Holidays, everyone!
